A list of puns related to "Bautista"
Canada wins the ATP Cup. They demolish Spain 2-0. Felix makes his return to the top 10 again. What an amazing time to be a Canadian tennis fan.
I respect the hell out of Roberto Bautista Agut. Despite being 33 years old, he remains one of the most consistently fit players on tour with a work ethic on and off court that only the top guys can match. His game is just suited for the Australian hard courts.
I am going to make a claim that is probably going to be proven solidly wrong in over a couple of weeks, but I think RBA is a big threat to the slam chances of those top three guys - Zverev, Medvedev and Djokovic. I think other players such as Nadal and Tsitsipas should find RBA easier on paper to deal with due to how their games matchup with the 6'0'' Spaniard. I don't think this is the case for the top three and only those three and I want to explain why I think this.
Bautista Agut is 3-9 career head-to-head against Djokovic, 3-0 on Medvedev, and 2-4 on Zverev. When it comes to things that Bautista Agut does that does or could bother these three, it comes down to the fact that he's very difficult to wear out from the back court. It wouldn't be a stretch to say he's probably the fittest older player, along with Simon, Djokovic or Dimitrov, on tour.
Against all of Djokovic, Medvedev and Zverev, RBA is very capable of outlasting all of them in baseline rallies because he has the necessary physical qualities (like great pain endurance and fitness) and technique on his groundstrokes (He hits with incredible consistency, always keeping the ball deep in the court and he has discipline in his shot selection. His ball is also very flat off both wings). The result of this is that it will be really hard for the top three to hit through RBA. Thus, the matches may get long and feature many marathon rallies.
In theory, Zverev should be able to best RBA somewhat straightforwardly if he plays at his best. Since Zverev possesses a bigger serve, forehand and backhand than the top two ranked on the ATP, and can hit RBA off the court.
But it's rare for Zverev to be in attack-mode late at slams where he might face RBA. Late in slams, Zverev is often tight and prone to mental slip-ups. To avoid losing control, he then wants to hit with less pace, keep the ball deep and out-rally his opponents instead of using his power game. In this scenario, he will find it difficult to get past an inspired RBA who is nearly impossible to out-rally unless he is willing to do this.
Djokovic, just recently, played an extremely tough match with RBA at Cincy in 2020 (Novak was coming off

Well that was a simply incredible match!
He will score a handful of podiums and perhaps win a race, but only wind up just inside the Top 8 and retire at the end of the season.
Especially his laughs. And maybe more specifically like Dave Bautista playing Drax. Anyone else hear it?
As someone indicated in another thread there isn't a huge amount to indicate the true nature of the Harkonnens' decadent brutality and psychopathy in the movie - a spider-gimp here, an attendant edging back from a vulnerable Baron there, and a lot of dark imagery but nothing too disturbing...
Apart from Bautista's nuanced facial expressions in his (few) scenes. Rabban obviously appears violent but also has a toddler-ish aspect to him, and by hitting those notes just right Bautista says a lot about Rabban's relationship with his uncle and the psychology of their tribe. His half-smile in the opening scenes certainly intimidated me more than anything about the way the Baron himself was portrayed.
Following his performance in Blade Runner 2049 this is the second time he's stood out in a movie for me, and hopefully we'll get to see more of the above in the second part. Anyone else notice any of the above?
I'm assuming by now, our dear friend Angel has expanded his beach front restaurant into a chain of highly successful franchises all across the southern FL area. He's always been known for making sound, well thought out decisions, so I am certain he leveraged the almost 10 past years to expand upon his entrepreneurial success, setting up himself, little Auri, and Detective Gianna for a wealthy future. (Yes, in my world Bautista has reconciled with Detective Gianna because they wrote her off for literally no reason.)
As you would've known by now that Dave is willing to be Bane a villian from batman franchise, I just wanted to know what you guys think about it. Could any other actor play bane, how is Dave Bautista perfect for you as Bane
I didn't include other big wrestling names like Andre the Giant (Princess Bride 1987) and Macho Man Randy Savage (Bonesaw in Spider-Man 2002) because I don' think they were actively trying to transition to an acting career. Andre the Giant sadly passed away not long after Princess Bride (6 years later due to health complications). And Macho Man was already 50-ish when he did Spider-Man and likely just did it for fun. He would do voiceovers for King of the Hill and other shows here and there.
Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura actually had a decent amount of films under their belt, but their most notable stuff was They Live (1988) and Predator (1987).
But the ones like Hogan, Stone Cold, Big Show, Edge, Triple H, Diamond Dallas Page, Kane (who is a mayor now)...they've tried breaking into movies with 3-5+ films and it never caught on.
Was the timing wrong? Would they maybe have had more success if they were younger and tried their hand at movies during our current era, with more social media, better marketing, superhero films, and memes to help boost popularity?
Or do Dwayne Johnson, Cena and Bautista simply have that certain something that some of the others didn't have?
How he lost that third set is something I will never know.
Hey all.
I am wondering if anyone has taken STAT 301 with Gloria Bautista. I heard not-so-great things about her. And I am curious as to what people think of her as an instructor. What was your experience in this class? How did you study for this class? How are the exams? What is one thing or a few things I should prepare for? Let me know if anyone has taken this class, and your experience(s)! I have never taken a Statistics class and I want to know what I should expect.
And I am also waitlisted for that class. Does STAT 301 normally get full like this? Does anyone think I will be able to enroll?
Thank you all :)
