I think mayoral was never going to be redeemed for 20m anyway after we bought shomurodov. I think shomu is a more complete striker but mayoral is a hell of a prima punta. Let's not forget borja is only 24 too while eldor is 26 and really ever burst onto the scene last year in genoa at 25.
Im not surprised really we knew it was coming since eldor was bought but i still would have never been sad having him as second choice striker, especially given his age and potential to grow.
Villar is a mixed bag. So clearly immensly talented with ball at his feet. But that thing he does where he just stands and points to his feet asking for the ball like his teammates are dumbasses was just... Not great. I wish mou could have turned him around but i guess he just prefers bove and darboe. Overall if possible i wouldve shipped off diawara instead but i'm not torn up about it.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could offer opinions on Villars v. Champéry for things that are perhaps not obvious for a holiday home. (Or indeed, if there are other places to consider?)
Both are close to Geneva airport and have a decent ski area. Champéry offers a larger ski area and has the novelty that you can ski across a border. My family are beginning to intermediate skiers so somewhere like Verbier looks like it would not cater too well to them. I think Villars may be slightly 'easier' to work with as I think you can ski back to the village and they have snow makers, but Champéry does not.
Summer activities seem to be plentiful between them too.
Most of the time we'd hope to rent the home out or let friends use it, I think both towns are big enough that they would have a company who could help us with aspects of this.
Any thoughts, opinions, and suggestions gratefully received!
