Looking at how fluid the Olympic Basketball games were to watch

Hey guys! Bill Simmons had an interesting discussion with Malcolm Gladwell on his podcast yesterday. They were talking about how fluid the Olympic Basketball games were to watch and how the NBA could profit from a potential change in timeout rules to make their product more appealing. I personally couldn't agree more. I would watch way more NBA games if they would get rid of all those unnecessary (long) timeouts and have a bit more fluidity to them. What are your guys' thoughts on this?

Everyone meet RuthAnn. When I was a kid I volunteered at a summer camp for mentally handicapped people. She was one of the campers. I ran into her at my son’s basketball game last night and she was kind enough to be my Valentines date for the game. She knew exactly who I was. Heart is full today.

LA and Paris are the only remaining cities in the running for the 2024 Olympics. Basketball games will be held at Staples if LA wins the bid.

How cool would it be if one of our young guys were on team USA and got a chance to win a Gold Medal at home.

Most disappointing basketball player at the Olympics thus far?

Ricky Rubio has to get my vote. He's supposed to stand out from the competition since he's a starting point guard in the NBA but he's looked pretty bad for Spain and deservedly not gotten many of the end-game minutes, especially with his inability to make any sort of field goal.

Does team USA basketball stay in the Olympic Village, or do they stay in another luxury hotel, because they can and are probably the wealthiest athletes at the Olympics?

I just read some shit about how the Olympic Village is uninhabitable. I was wondering if Team USA Basketball has stayed in the other villages in past Olympics, and if they will stay somewhere else for Rio because they are rich and can.
