Question:
>In the prequel trilogy of the Star Wars saga, Anakin Skywalker is considered the chosen one regarding to the prophecy.
>
>Everytime I heard Jedi talk about the prophecy (Yoda, Qui-Gon, etcc) they say that there will be one that will bring balance in the force destroying the Sith, but the last part regarding the Sith is not always mentioned. Could the reference to the Siths have been added by the Jedi taking it for granted?
>
>(Yoda says to Mace Windu in Episode III that the prophecy could be misunderstood.)
>
>If the prophecy only says that the chosen one will bring balance in the force, neither Anakin nor Luke are the chosen one, because the force has two parties, Jedi and Sith, and in the end of the Episode VI Luke (like Yoda says before he dies) is the last Jedi, and if the Jedi are still alive there's no balance in the force.
>
>I know that it sounds like an "opinion based" speech, but this thought raises thinking about the real content of the prophecy.
>
>So, what does the prophecy exactly say?
Answer:
>I don't know what the exact words of the original prophecy were. I don't think anyone does because they are not contained in any canon material (that I know of).
>
>There are some non-canon sources that speak of the prophecy, but not only are they officially classified as "legend" material, it's not clear, even within those sources, whether the prophecy being recounted is truly the original prophecy or simply a retelling (and possibly a reinterpretation) of whatever the original prophecy was. For purposes of this discussion, it works just as well and is safe to assume that the original words have been lost to the mists of time, and only the general idea survived until Anakin's day.
>
>The root of your confusion
>
>That said, your larger question reveals many misconceptions of the prophecy and the greater story of Star Wars. I feel that you're asking the wrong question because you're starting with the wrong assumptions. By clearing up some of those misconceptions, I think you will find that most of your concerns and confusions disappear into irrelevance.
>
>The problem is that your understanding of the Force itself and of the prophecy, just within the context of the films, is all wrong - but don't be offended, they are very common misunderstandings. In fact, that's why I'm taking the time to write out this long explanation: to
Simply if you are conscious, then isn't it logical to state nature/existence itself as a whole bears consciousness since you are encompassed within it. If that is understood then wouldn't everything be in essence just thought of a much higher gradient of consciousness ?, without a personality or fixed relativity ( god factor ) but just a none divine, unconditional, unrestricted, unlimited, boundless range of thought/consciousness that manifests as a creative/contemplating/multilayered/constant force observed relatively through natural cycles, growth patterns and energy displacements over relative time and space. We contemplate creativity through reason so wouldn't such principles observed at a higher point of view stem from an already existing gradient. If that is as well understood then wouldn't every animate or inanimate matter, high or low frequency energy or observed living or non-living form that exists, existed, has ever existed, will ever exist just contribute to a singular network? A network that encompasses within itself and derives from itself constantly understanding/evolving in many variations so that the same processes of understanding/evolution are observed in every layer ( like flora and fauna, frequency or human behavior/change ). Then surely maintaining inner balance is simply understanding that you are literally one with everything and everyone, just relatively different variations/fragments of the same/singular complexity. This observed Variations/fragments are molded by environmental and self created/imposed properties based on material idealism understanding, acquisitions or attachments. If observed from a higher point of view, harboring hatred, contempt or negativity for another and/or worships to a god is unreasonable and confusing and illogical idea/occurrence as a leaf harboring hatred, contempt or negativity for another leaf and/or worships a tree, soil, branch or elements. quite a unnecessary self created/imposed restrictive and unbalanced dilemma with bounds that hinder progress but only generate confusion
Ever since the recent patch, the Balance of Nature does heal Lion like it's supposed to. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I missing something?
I feel like everything in the universe balances out: Pain, pleasure, goodness, evil, everything. So when I think about what I should do with my life, it's always met with something like "It doesn't matter where you go, whatever you do. Some will benefit from your actions. Some will suffer." It drains the vitality out of anything I'm trying to accomplish. Has anyone thought this way? It seems almost overwhelming, pushing me to a sort of nihilism.
