A list of puns related to "Ayinger"
Jahrhundert Bier - Ayinger - 5.5% ABV. B+ and a bit, pleasing German malt base with hints of lemon and a medium lemon bitter finish #beer #bier #ale
3.3/5 even with my unclassified German this is a rather good 100 π― Year Bier π©πͺ At the awesome @hoplord
Having trouble finding a decent Pils in MN, yeah I know, I should be in Europe. But alas here I am. Found Bauhaus Wonderstuff to be decent enough but ultimately lacking in body and depth of finish. Also slightly higher abv at 5.4 so that could be a factor.
Doesn't have to be MN craft, just something I can find at a TW...yeah I know.
Thanks for any help.
Like the title says - Iβm trying to find this beer around town. Has anyone seen it? Iβve struck out at Stadium Market, Blue Front, Campus Corner, Produce Station, and Main Street Party Store (which has some of their other beers, but told me they donβt stock the Brauweisse).
So, a couple months back I asked my wife to pick up Ayinger Oktoberfest. She brought back Brau Weisse instead. Now I love weiss beers, but not generally in the winter, of course. But I've been curious, because somehow I've never had this beer.
Popped one open tonight, and wow! Could be my new favorite hefeweizen. Mouthfeel definitely the best I've ever had. And I love it when the banana and clove really pop, and the Ayinger doesn't dissapoint there. Yea, going to the fridge for another.
I've heard good things but never see them in stores.
Anyone know where I can pick up some Ayinger Oktoberfest in the Greater Longmont area?
Update: Wyattβs has it and the code on the bottles were L0114.
I bought a bottle to try a few weeks ago, figured if I like it, I can buy more. Didn't try it yet, but Googled it and it's no longer on their site and Untappd says it's no longer produced. My bottle expires 12/20, so that checks out. Anyone know what happened? Honestly, it may not be worth the hassle as I haven't tried it yet, but since my favorite beer is made by them, I had big expectations, especially as there's only Paulaner's radler available in my country, and that's not bad, but nothing to write home about.
