A list of puns related to "Munich, Germany"
I've read a few times that Bavaria and therefore its capital city Munich has the highest quality of life in Germany, even more than cities like Hamburg or Stuttgart and its high quality of life can even be compared with cities like ZΓΌrich or Oslo.
Is that true, does Munich really have such a high quality of life?
Hello everyone,
I'm an EU Citizen from Argentina who can speak German (although I am a bit out of practice), has 3 years of senior IT experience (without an University Degree) and a cushion of Euros.
I have managed to secure a Job Offer before traveling, however it is in Munich.
Benefits:
The job is for a small company, so I would have larger liberties and more power decision in the company.
Having a secure job before traveling is less worrisome
Secured a job without an University Degree, with a good salary and few years of experience
Having work experience in Munich will allow me to have more offers in the future
Cons:
Munich is expensive, most of my salary will go towards rent
Munich is a large city, and the job is in a smaller city just next to Munich, so if I wanted to go to the city center, it should be 40 minutes by public transport easily
Strong Bayern accent will make it harder
My other option is to travel to Germany, find a temporary accommodation in a smaller city, while working remotely for my current company in Argentina, which would pay enough to pay for rent at least.
It might be harder to find a job, since I don't have an university degree, and my three years of senior IT experience are in Argentina.
What should I do?
Gives me hope that I can buy a lucid here soon ! This is awesome ! ! ! A first store in southern germany ! Maybe more follow in Berlin Hamburg etc.

I have relocated to Norway in 2019, earning around 84K Euro/Yr (850,000 NOK/Yr). I have got a job in Munich in one of the E-commerce companies with (75k Euro fixed + 5k Euro bonus). Norway is a really nice country, people are helping/nice in general, banking, healthcare, child care, social security is very nice and everything feels so structured, but it's really expensive. Would it be a good decision to move to Munich?
Edit: If I am not wrong, there are not many software companies with interesting work in Norway, also I find payscale quite low compared to the cost of living. I have 9+ years of working with many successful US startups but not listed on NASDAQ.
tried to remaster a old color video that shows Berlin, Munich and eastern parts of Germany just months before WW2
- reduced camera vibrations
- fixed too fast frame rate (slowed down)
- frames added by AI for smoother playback
- AI upscaling to recover more details
