is there any way of fixing this? I was trying to look for it in mods, but could find no specific mentions in any of them. Actually I couldn't find a single related search to "Destroyed auditory canal" in relation to Rimworld on all of google. Happened while trying to tame a not very friendly rhino. :)

I'm afraid I might be one of those people who can't wear in-ear headphone. Every pair I've ever tried hurt and pop out 🤷🏼♀️so far no luck.
When I say my ears are really small, I'm not trying to be overdramatic... they are basically child-sized and nothing fits. I've done some googling and found some clips and attachments that are supposed to help, but I thought I might ask the experts for tips or recommendations. I run trails, so I'm just looking for something light that stays put.

First, we need to understand the difference between a SubliminaI message and a Supraliminal message. I believe this needs to be addressed because the two get mixed quite alot. So for that, I will tell you the difference below.
• Subliminal •
A SubliminaI is stimuli below conscious threshold. (affirmations & statements that are inaudible to the conscious mind but heard and understood by the subconscious mind)
• Supraliminal •
A Supraliminal is stimuli above conscious threshold but goes unnoticed. (affirmations & statements that are audible to the conscious mind but not understood)
• The misconstruction between the two •
Stimuli that are perceived above the threshold and thus are detected at the level of consciousness are called supraliminal. Many creators and individual's assume a subliminaI messaging track works by adjusting the volume, which is inaccurate and wrong. A subliminaI messaging track works by adjusting the frequency to below conscious threshold, allowing the affirmations to go directly to the subconscious mind. The reason why we do this is because we don't want our conscious mind to be aware of the stimuli.

They can create a distraction or disturbance in your daily life.
Subliminal:
Subliminal tracks are more verstile because you do not need to worry about hearing the stimuli. Thanks to this, the chances of the conscious mind rejecting the suggestions are non-existent

I just get ads for super shitty and totally unaligned podcasts from I Heart Radio (If I have to hear Mitch and Mitch one more time). I am not against ads as I want Robert to be able to afford all the Dorritos and Throwing Bagels he wants.
I want bonkers US ads that juxtapose with all the absurdist segues Robert throws down... like I want a fucking viagra ad during the Ben Shaprio piece or an ambulance chaser ad during the Erik Prince ep.
The question is, do you get those in the States?? Am I missing out?
I don’t really know much about cheap headphones, and I feel it’s important to admit it right away. Well, it’s not that I know nothing about cheap Chinese ones, but I’ve only heard the names of some manufacturing companies.
But when the KZ ZEX Pro (aka KZ x Crinacle CRN) came out, I got curious: Crinacle being mostly engaged in headphones measuring and analyzing, together with KZ produces a hybrid model with neutral tuning, and all that for around $30. The headphones motto says ‘You don’t need to pay for tuning’: that is, the right tuning is available for any, even small money.
So I rushed to AliExpress and ordered these.

What’s included & specifications
The headphones come in a very simple rather small box. There are a 2-pin (0.75 mm) cable with a 3.5 jack and three pairs of earpads inside. Headphones’ technical specs:
- Design: in-ear closed-back.
- Drivers: 1 dynamic, 1 armature, 1 electret.
- Impedance: 25 Ohms.
- Sensitivity: 104 dB.
- Weight of a single earpiece: 7 grams.
Ergonomics and manufacturing quality
The headphones are made of glossy transparent plastic, the shell is opaque matte (black and gold versions available). As for the fit, it’s an ambiguous experience: those ‘wings’ protruding from the enclosure put a lot of pressure on my ears.

Moreover, these wings have nothing inside (I mean, these don’t cover anything electronic), that is, the manufacturer made these appendices on purpose — for better ergonomics (thanks a lot). Well, I believe that it’s just my ears, since the rest of the enclosures fit inside the auricle and the auditory canal quite comfortably.
The headphones are simple, but neat. The sound ducts are even protected by mesh.
