P.S. By the end of the year I plan to finish assamese, bengali, hindi, chinese, english. Also thinking of adding basic maths and reasoning flash card games in it.
Hello to the people of Assam who are present here, I am native speaker of Bangla, and recently some Assamese language YT video (an interview of a celebrity, I am sorry I forgot her name) came to my feed, and out of curiosity I started the video. While watching the video I gathered that I can probably understand a lot of it, and from then on I searched up a lot of things about Assam. I feel very intrigued about the state and now I want to learn more about it and figured out that learning the language properly might be a good stepping stone.
So, my question to all you Assamese folks here, what are the best resources to start to learn the language for me? Also, I would appreciate if you people can provide me with some links, pdfs or any sort of online resource that might be useful in this context.
Hey everyone, I am the bass guitarist in a 4-piece band named Awrr. We have just released a new music video yesterday. This is our fourth single. Although the language of the song is in Assamese, we've put English subtitles in the video. The song is about nostalgia. It was written when I used to travel back home from Chennai and Bangalore, where I used to stay. The reason I am posting it here is because I am a frequent visitor in the sub and I really like the openness and inclusiveness of this community. I know the language barrier can be there but I am trusting on the old adage "music has no language". I have heard Assamese and Bengali and they both sound alike, even their written scripts look identical to me. Is there actually a difference or am I just dumb?
My Mother was watching this show called Dance Deewane . I was passing by to open the fridge for some southwest. And I saw this degenerate host who referred the Assamese Language as Chinese. I wanted to hit that guy with my dinner plate at that moment. These stupid people are being watched by millions of kids and people. What does this create. Another generation of such degenerate people. Someone needs to file a lawsuit against such things!!
