A list of puns related to "Art For Charity"
Since the GoFundMe text post was a struggle to get approved and pinned on r/starwarsleaks to begin with, I decided to post this on r/StarWarsCantina instead so that it doesn't get eaten by the AutoMod's draconian spam filter.
The past week has been an amazing series of highs and lows, the good and not-so-good, and laughing and crying of both sadness and joy. Above all, however, it has shown the loyalty, faith, and love of a community united in supporting a cause.
Last week on Monday was the L.A. premiere of Star Wars - The Rise of Skywalker. Everyone, it seems, was eager to hear from the elusive Adam Driver, who had been largely absent from the press tour of The Rise of Skywalker. While he also gave no red carpet interviews - to my knowledge - at the premiere, and skipped the London Rise of Skywalker premiere as well, his charity / nonprofit, Arts in the Armed Forces (AITAF), did post a tweet the day after the premiere with a recent Nightline interview he did.
I managed to get past r/StarWarsLeaks's spam filter by posting it as "Cast & Crew [News]" (see original post here, tweet here), which you can read about my process doing that in my tweet here. I originally wanted to post a thread about a donating movement, but was concerned - rightly so - that the subreddit's spam filter would catch it.
Immediately after posting the share of AITAF's tweet, I started getting comments about donating, and soon enough, someone had started a GoFundMe, and another user - u/SelfIndulgentKiddo - had posted it to r/starwarsleaks (see post here). That got caught by the spam filter at first, until there was a large enough interest in the fundraiser to get a moderator to approve and sticky / pin the post to the top of the subreddit.
As of the time of posting this, the fundraiser has far surpassed its original goal of $15,000, then $31,000- $32,000 dollars (dollar-for-dollar match of AITAF's previous publicly listed fundraising for 2019, changed after I commented / messaged the OP about it), but is now sitting at almost $38,000, and still climbing.
When I originally posted the shared tweet from AITAF, I had absolutely no idea how popu

I'm doing this to spread awareness about this awful cancer. It is 5th most common cause of cancer with incredibly low survival rates. Not enough is being done to tackle this problem.
Sharing this post would be much appreciated.
