So a post on the TIL subreddit pointed out that, at least in Skamania county, it is illegal to kill a Bigfoot. I checked out a little bit more of the Wikipedia page it links to and it turns out Whatcom county either is, or was, a "Sasquatch Protection and Refuge Area".
