They are both an overdressed, dried out piece of fruit that leave you wondering about your sexuality.
So today I was at a Christmas market and picked up some apple pie flavoured vodka. It's great by itself but the lady selling it gave me her recipe to make it into a martini:
2 shots apple pie vodka 1 shot amaretto Spoonful sweetened condensed milk Squeeze in lemon juice Shake with ice Pour into martini glass Top with whipped cream
This sounds a little too sweet for my tastes. I've also never made a martini before or any shaken cocktail but I am hosting a Christmas dinner party for a couple close friends and want to make a fun drink.
Can you see any way to improve this recipe or does it look good to go?
Does anyone know if sour apple pucker and/or crown royal are gluten free? One of my favorite holiday drinks was a Washington Apple Martini and I haven’t had one since being diagnosed with celiac. I know there are mixed opinions about whiskey and I can’t find much online about apple pucker. I contacted Dekuyper about the Pucker but only received an auto-reply with nutritional information like calories, fat, carbs, etc. I was wondering what others experiences have been with these products.
