A list of puns related to "American Academy Of Pediatrics"
Sue those child-molesting bastards without mercy. I donβt give a fuck that a piece of paper says mutilating infants is βlegalβ, they must pay for their crimes against humanity. It is not acceptable that we must wait until 2024, and then pay for the bodily autonomy that they deprived us of out of our own pockets. Donate all the winnings to Foregen, force them to fund the procedure for their victims, and donβt stop there: place everyone who played a role in facilitating genital mutilation inside a maximum security isolated prison to prevent these psychopaths from inflicting further harm on society. The problem is, I am not well-versed in the legal process, and I need you guys to help. We shall not meekly accept what was done to us, this is an assault on the human right to bodily autonomy. Itβs abundantly clear that no one is interested in defending this right, itβs long past time to take legal action and forcibly end this atrocity for good.
Recommendations for at least 12 weeks of paid parental leave for everyone ("six to nine months of leave would be ideal"): https://www.aappublications.org/news/2020/07/01/wellness070120
Recommendation for at least 6-8 weeks for peds trainees: https://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/131/2/387
I've heard stories of some institutions not allowing residents to take the FMLA.
Then the argument comes up that some of the specialty boards have specific requirements for time off within a program - Well, they should get on the train and start caring about residents and fair labor law/practices. This is ripe for articles written from the resident/physician perspective and a demand for the AAP to get their shit together and treat trainees (and their children) like humans.
