Hey guys!! I’ve been working on an Acrostic playlist for “I love you” for my girlfriend… I have songs for every letter other than V… I would LOVE some ideas as I’ve been looking for the perfect song for V for a couple days now with no luck.. I’m hoping for something cute/lovable and not sexual at all. Valentine by 5 seconds of summer and also by train are a no… thanks in advance ☺️☺️

It was my personal best time, although I've got a mixed history of doing them on paper vs online so it's hard to compare. There's no theming in the clues or answers, which can be fun, but that results in a simpler solve.

Hello everyone, today I wrote an acrostic poem for firestar. I thought it would be fun if other waifuists wrote ones about their s/os using their names as well :3.

For those who don’t know; “An acrostic is a poem or other composition in which the first letter of each line spells out a word, message or the alphabet.” They’re very simple and easy to do. Here is mine about my boyfriend:

“Flames spiraling

Ignited by love

Running away with you

Escaping

Swiftly

To unknown lands

Away from the pain

Running away”

It’s about my love and the want to escape with him. As you can see, the beginning of each word is a letter that spells out “FIRESTAR”. It only took me a couple of minutes.

Today's prompt is "Make an acrostic poem using BtoB, start!"

For those not familiar with acrostic poems, it's using the letters "B-T-O-B" to start each sentence of the poem. I'll try to think of 1 quickly to illustrate what I mean...

(Although if we followed the Korean way strictly using " 비투비", it would be a 3 line poem instead with "B-To-B" at the start of each line. One can do that instead if they want to)

A friend and I wrote this while de-rigging a quad after a ridiculously cold head race. I think the words can tell you more about the weather and conditions then me simply describing it. Bonus: another acrostic poem we wrote about my friend's fingers after de-rigging said boat.

There are times when we all must take inventory of ourselves.

The acrostic has not saved my progress since August 15. When I look in the archives it notes that I've completed the ones since then but when I look at any of them they are all blank. The ones from 8/15/21 and earlier are all saved as usual. When I try to solve the current one, I cannot leave it and come back later since nothing is saved. Progress for other puzzles (crosswords, spelling bee) is saved as expected. I use the chrome browser on both a Chromebook and Linux desktop. Didn't know if anyone else was seeing this issue. Is there someplace I can report a possible bug to the NYT?

it's 1am and i'm back to show some love to our favourite leader ^_^

some time after his enlistment, day6's sungjin opened a separate twitter account, @/DAY6__SUNGJIN, where he shares his not-food-related thoughts—his main account is almost exclusively for meal updates lmao. his alt mostly consists of him excessively kekekeing about either the members or whatever situation he got himself into in the military, tweeting sad lyrics, and sharing weirdly profound messages that touch me regardless.

anyway, for today's antics, he starts off by ridiculing wonpil for doing ,,, who knows what to some precious kimchi while cooking in subunit even of day's variety show—"who knows what" primarily being adding an ungodly amount of salt (and ramen seasoning)—and painfully reminiscing on the last time his bandmate fucked up seaweed soup. i can only presume "r.i.k" means "rest in kimchi."

then, to further clown poor pil (who, mind you, can't even fight back !! hello ?!! the man doesn't have twitter !!) and fully express his disgust, he proceeds to create an acrostic poem with each syllable of wonpil's name—"the kimchi said / use me in anyway that you want / as i'll also use you when i need to" (translation credits go to desix_O825 because reddit is unbelievably shit when it comes to linking things lmfao thank you for carrying this fandom on your bare shoulders).

pretty amusing no? well, he then promptly proceeds to create acrostic poems using every day6 member's name, including his own. here's his poem combining jae's, youngk's, and dowoon's names. couldn't find an accurate translation (desix do something ;____;) but in short, he tells jae to act his age, calls youngk a .. robber ? or something ? and completely gives up on dowoon's lines lmao wtf is acorn transport ? i need to learn more hangul ..

soon afterwards, of course, he tweets an acrostic of his name—"park sungjin's bed is / a holy place so / entry is prohibited." if you're a myday you're probably aware of the fact that he does NOT like it when anyone touches his bed 😭 perfectly understandable, he's just like me.

Based off the officially confirmed episode titles, the riddle currently reads: SEEK THE K.

If taking the unofficial episode titles into account, it currently reads: SEEK THE KEY FEA.

Assuming Season 2 will indeed have 21 episodes in total and the unofficial leaks are legit, my guess to the end of the riddle is:

SEEK THE KEY. FEAR THE LOCK.

or

SEEK THE KEY. FEAR THE HOLE. (However, given the symbolism of keys and locks, I am more inclined to the first one).

The Season 1 acrostic riddle may have been referring to Luz, but its not a given that Season 2's riddle has to follow suit. If the season ends on a major victory for the villain like Empire Strikes Back (and I think it will given its darker tone and the fact that Season 3 will be the last), then it stands to reason that the riddle could refer to Belos.

Just food for thought ;)

I don’t know if anyone else already thought of this but it just occurred to me and I wanna share it. So far we know “Seek the Key” which will probably be followed by “Fear the _ _ _”. Is the last word “Day”? As in the Day of Unity? Because that would give us:
