A list of puns related to "Works team"
because two of them together would be a paradox.
Colleague reading menu: "What's a caper?"
Me: "It's halfway between a shenanigan and a scheme."
While handing out my teams paycheck stubs at work I told everyone to "Enjoy your checks while they last, you won't be getting paid for the rest of the year!"
I told them that it was a tough situation but sadly my hands were tied. To the Victor go the spoils.
There is no "I" in team, but there are four in "platitude quoting idiot".
He was a one-hint wonder!
Every morning when I email my team their daily tasks, I include a joke from this sub. and I appreciate you all so I can try to make everyone laugh a little before rough work at a hospital. So thanks dads!
I immediately left my Office and tried explaining myself. Sure, on the Surface I do it often, but I think it Works. It's not just about Word play, either; my Outlook on life helps me Excel. She and I have such a great Team Foundation, I Azure you. I wanted to Exchange my thoughts with her, so we could work with OneDrive. I looked her right in the Windows of her soul, to Access the deepest parts of her heart, and told her I loved her. Completely on Edge, I awaited her answer...
PowerPoint of the story is: does anyone know of a good divorce lawyer?
When we work together, we are a grape team!
So Iβm going to be in charge of a team for work and I need a punny team name involving one of the following words/phrases.
I want my team to be dinosaur/Jurassic Park themed and my company is called Caption Call.
I need to use something from the following list:
Caption Captioner Callers CA CAs Dictate
For example thereβs another team called βCaption Americaβ
The best Iβve come up with is βveloci-captionersβ but itβs a reach...
Every year, the team was in the state championship game, and usually won it handily. Every able lad within a few hundred miles wanted to play football for Central Catholic Fighting Knights.
Those who were familiar with the program, knew that the true heart and soul of the Knights football program was Sister Mary Margaret, an aged nun who would, in full habit, get out on the practice field and work on routes with the receivers, give pointers to the quarterbacks on their stances and releases, but most of all, love them like the second mother that she became to all of the boys in that program.
One year, on the eve of the state championship game, some evil malefactors broke into the convent and kidnapped Sister Mary Margaret. Everyone was stunned by the news, but none more so than the Knights of Central Catholic. They were devastated at the loss of their mentor.
As you might guess, the state championship game didn't go very well. For the first time in the history of the football program, the Knights were shut out. The Spartans beat them 42-0.
The next day, the headline on the local sports section read:
No Offense, Nun Taken
Me : "Dad, higher my seat!"
Dad : "Okay." [points at bicycle seat] "YOU'RE HIRED!"
Hello, I'm in Vet school and just can't seem to compete with some of my fellow students' surgery team names. As students, we work together to do spays and neuters for shelter animals. We like to use funny pun names.
Ideas that have already been taken: "Ovarian Cysters" "Dogtors at Your Cervix" "Eggs Ovary-Z"
Context: There is an upcoming 250 piece puzzle-making competition at work where teams compete to be the fastest puzzle-solvers. It is a corporate activity. I'm writing the invitation to be distributed and I want to get people participating. Help!
One of the funniest school puns; science puns

"Punktuation" - Dressed as punk rockers
"Bee Me Up, Scotty!" - Dressed as Star Trek officers
If anyone has a good idea let me know and I will post pics from the event on October 24th. If you don't care to help then...umm...continue being dads.
EDIT FOR CLARITY: People are making some great suggestions for names, but I should have clarified that this is for a team of 3 people. So proper names are not really going to work...stick to the format I have described in this post!
So I was having dinner with my father attempting to describe to him a bad experience I had while playing a game of League of Legends with my boyfriend. The conversation went as follows. " SO yeah, I was Evelynn a champion who can go invisible and my boyfriend told me to go back door their nexus, which is to go attack it when the team isn't there to defend it's kinda a cheep tactic, but ended up not working. Sigh" I look up at him and he replied completely straight-faced "At least you can't get pregnant that way" Needless to say I blushed profusely.
She was telling me about how they worked and stuff and then says,
"Everyone has to wear their meet suits to the competitions."
So I respond, "I bet there was a lot of beef between you and the other team!"
...She groaned and said she didn't want to talk to me for the rest of the car ride.
I am a manager at a place that sells frozen treats. At work one day a team member was knocking frozen fruit in to a box, he had to hit it pretty hard to get it out. So I told him "show that fruit who's boss" after this stopped leaned in to the fruit to say "hey fruit" then pointed at me "thats the boss". Quite a proud moment for me.
Just heard this from a fellow coworker a few minutes ago:
I work on a team that have two "Nicks" in the office. One works in tech support and the other is a paralegal. We all work in the same vicinity. My supervisor was showing her frustration about a program that was not working right and she immediately asked for Nick (tech Nick). Paralegal Nick answered her call but she said that she it was asking for the other Nick.
My coworker, without a beat, said, "We might need to come up with new nicknames."
So I work at a fertilizer plant and we have a weekly team meeting. This one maintenance guy brings in a bearing that failed the week before to show it to us.
My supervisor: "Ahh I see you've come with gifts."
Me: "No, he's come bearing gifts."
Room was filled with laughter and groans.
We came into work on a Saturday where dress is really relaxed. He was wearing a soccer jersey for a guy named Eden Hazard. Hazard plays for Chelsea and the Belgian national team.
The front of soccer jerseys typically have a company name on them for advertising. This one had Samsung.
I asked if he got the jersey free with a purchase of his Note 7.
He actually laughed at the joke.
Bonus: we're both Arabs so I told him not to go to the airport wearing it.
I am working on a set of signs for a roller derby bout. the team theme is russian army and I am trying to make propaganda like signs for each of the big russian leaders from the past.

Looking for some for:
-Vladimir Lenin
-Leonid Brezhnev
-Nikita Khrushchev
-Mikhail Gorbachev

My teacher helped my team after class to work on some practice problems.
Teacher: What questions do you have?
Girl in my group: Starts explaining questions but stops to drink her Starbucks coffee.
Teacher (to the group): I think she's more concerned about her coffee than the question.
Girl in my group: What? I didn't have enough coffee today!
Teacher: I think you may have had too much coffee today!
Me: Too much coffee? I haven't heard her cough once!
Teacher: With a huge smile on his face he let out a massive groan. He then picks up my pencil and tosses it to the other side of the room.
Fun semester. Definitely miss that class.
So this happened a couple of years ago. I worked in a room of about 40 engineers. Someone on a different team always had his phone on loud, and his ringtone set as the Friends theme (which soon became pretty annoying)
Anyway, one afternoon, the offender had gone for a cigarette but left his phone behind. Phone rings, and no-one dares answer his phone for him, so we all ignore it and eventually they ring off.
Moments later, same thing happens, I think it gets through the intro and into the first verse before they ring off.
Silence. We breathe a sigh of relief. They've given up.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I've heard my Pop tell this story so many times, I feel as though it's my duty to share it with this wonderful subreddit.
So, Pops is an air traffic controller. And a few years back, there was an initiative to boost workplace morale and get people to work together as a team.
Needless to say, the whole campaign was the butt of lots of jokes around the sector. Not that teamwork is a bad thing, of course. Just easy fodder for jokes, particularly in a group of middle-aged, dad-joke-loving men.
So one time, Pops is shooting the shit with another controller, and they're giving each other a hard time about one thing or another. And their supervisor walks up; real squirrelly guy who didn't cut it as an actually controller so they made him a supervisor (the FAA is silly that way). And he hears my Pops and the other guy razzing each other, and sticks his head in the sector and says, "Gentlemen, there's no 'I' in 'team'."
And Pops responds, "Yeah, but there's a 'U' in 'stupid'!"
Every time he tells that story, he just loses it. Cracks himself up. Even though I'm sure I've heard him tell it two dozen times.
Yesterday, my boss came in and mentioned that our team in India (with whom I work with quite a bit) would not be working tomorrow. I asked him why and he said, "Well, it's the Indian Independence Day..." then with a glint in his eye he said,
"India-pendence Day"
I'm in my bosses' office talking about moving to a fancy new office with lots of space.
Me: "Instead of cubicles can we put small teams in wigwams?"
Boss: "Probably not. Why?"
Me: "Because then we can tell everyone that software development at {companyName} is in tents."
Boss: "Sigh... don't you have work to do?"
We work at the local ice arena where our university plays. Last night, our DIII team played a team from China. We were watching them warm up, and they weren't particularly good. My coworker said "Wow, they still haven't scored (on their own goalie) during warm ups yet". I jokingly reply "Yeah, their goalie must be pretty good." After about 30 seconds of silence he comes back with "I hear they call him the Great Wall"
I work in Marketing for an east coast MLB team. The other day, we held a "Country Western Night" and had various attractions in and around the stadium that went with the theme. One of these was a 'NASCAR simulator'- which was essentially just a racing game you'd find at any arcade. At the 8th inning, just before closing time, a man walked by with his wife, both sipping beer and watching kids play the game. We were closing after those last two kids, so I asked him if he wanted to play, or if he was just watching. He responded with, "Oh, I'm just watching", gestured with his beer and said, "I don't want to drink and drive anyway".
Theres this kid named Sam that i played soccer with way back like 18 years ago. He had four fingers on one hand i dont remember why or how. I work with him now and when i first saw him i just remembered and said "we played soccer together." I was talking to my parents about how good i am with names and faces and told my parents about him. My dad coached my AYSO (the soccer league for little kids... i have a dad joke about that too) when sam was on my team. The dialogue:
Me: remember coaching sam? he had four fingers.
Dad: I dont remember coaching any Lord of the Rings teams.
