A list of puns related to "Will Mackenzie"
Pat Pete has been asked to do a lot in recent years in how the Cardinals played their defense. A lot was made of P2's 8 penalties last year, rightfully so that's unusually high for him, and his coverage grade of over 100.
Where the Cardinals went wrong however was using an aging Pat Pete as they once did, and not what he is now, and what he is now, is still an above average OUTSIDE CB who can hold his own in man, and does very well in bracket coverage
Peterson's overall grade of a 100.8 factors in his coverage snaps when playing in the slot, where coincidentally, all 4 of his touchdowns allowed came from.
Take those snaps away, and his grades comes in at a very respectable, even good, 74.7. This grade comes in at 12th of all CB's in the league with his number of snaps, which was the most in the league btw.
Without his coverage snaps in the slot, he would have been the 2nd least targeted CB in the league.
Having Mack back, other CB's like Hand, versatile safeties, and excellent coverage from linebackers, on top of Peterson almost definitely making it known he doesn't want to be in the slot, will allow P2 to be a steal at the rate the Vikings got him. Or so we hope!
Edit: 74.7 = 10th best grade in the league with CB's his snap count
Basically I would say impossible to pass under the tree without crouching. Yet normal walk leaves the branch above the head! I'd say we are short, survivors.

βWe were confident 2021 would be a big year for Haynesville consolidation,β Wood Mackenzie analysts said. βThis deal really picks up the pace,β following the news in early June that Southwestern Energy Co. would buy Haynesville producer Indigo Natural Resources LLC.
As per the Brum Mail:
> During his scouting role at Leicester, Mackenzie oversaw the permanent signings of success stories including Wes Morgan (Β£1 million), Danny Drinkwater (Β£810,000), Anthony Knockaert (Β£810,000), Chris Wood (Β£1.1 million), Jamie Vardy (Β£1.12 million), Riyad Mahrez (Β£450,000), Christian Fuchs (free), Esteban Cambiasso (free), N'Golo Kante (Β£8.1 million), Shinji Okazaki (Β£9.9 million) and Robert Huth (Β£3.8 million).
He then moved on to Spurs where:
> Mackenzie was the man who recruited Heung-min Son for Β£27 million from Bayer Leverkusen and Β£14.4 million Toby Alderweireld from Atletico Madrid. Kieran Tripper was also snapped up from Burnley for a bargain Β£4.4 million.
Although to be fair..
>The following summer, Mackenzie helped Spurs recruit Victor Wanyama from Southampton (Β£12.96 million), Vincent Janssen from AZ (Β£19.8 million) and Moussa Sissoko (Β£31.5 million)
..still a good hit rate overall though!
He was a huge hire for me. We all know the gems he unearthed at Leicester, and I just wonder if there will be a hidden gem from a distressed French or Brazilian (or other) League that arrives this summer.
So far, the links have been with UK based, established players on the upswings of their careers that weβve heard of.
But Rob was brought in for a reason. I would love to see the recruitment βwipe boardβ in the office with all the players on his radar.
