A list of puns related to "Whit Merrifield"
Was dumb easy thank you SDS
My process is simply looking at BaseballRef and seeing which contending teams have had the worst production at the position(Red Sox) of the player being traded(Merrifield). Then, using BaseballTradeValue create an equally valued trade.
(KCR)2B- Whit Merrifield

(BOS)2B- Jeter Downs(#2 in Org on Pipeline)/ OF- Gilberto Jimenez(#5)/ C- Ronaldo Hernandez(#11)/ OF- Alexis Hernandez(NR)
Salvy is gonna be the only Royal with a good card all year. I just wanted a high 80s or low 90s Whit card finally. I figured 40 hits in a month would get him that. I guess we're still paying for the free Gordo card we got to end last year's game.
A quick overview on Whit Merrifield:
- Incredibly durable, has not missed a game over the last 2 seasons.
- Career .295/.342/.444 hitter (.787 OPS, 110 OPS+)
- Plays basically everywhere on the diamond with pretty solid defense
- Fantastic baserunner and stolen base threat
In addition to this, he has a very team-friendly contract with a weird structure as follows:
2021: 6.75m
2022: 2.75m
2023: 10.5m team option with a 750k buyout
He's 31, one year younger than DJ LeMahieu. I think Merrifield would be a great fit for the team on many levels, the only real concern would be the prospect cost for us. What do you guys think about this fit for the Jays and what might it cost?
