A list of puns related to "Weight of the World (Evanescence song)"
Hey everyone! We recorded a cover of Fleetwood Macβs βThe Chainβ Β a couple months ago for the Gears 5 commercial. We loved the song so much that we decided to record a full length version, which is out tonight at midnight!! In the meantime, you get an exclusive preview of the song here.
We have European tour dates coming up next year, and are in the studio now working on our next original album. Iβll be online for at least the next hour answering your questions starting at 3pm Pacific - AMA!!
Hi, I would need the weights of the individual chairs from the World Chess Championship game, because I am creating a stop motion of this set and I want to 3D publish it later. I would like to recreate this set as much as possible and for this I need this data. Maybe someone has this chair and could weigh it, I would be very grateful.

I love Evanescence, and I think all of their music is amazing. However, I am drawn mostly to their rare material. Here are my favorite rare Evanescence songs and why:
Understanding: One of my favorite songs by Evanescence. This song is so deep and profound, as well as musically brilliant. I love how they combined movie quotes with the layered vocals and instruments, itβs so smart and creative. In addition, the movie quotes added are full of truth and insight.
The End: The genius of this song comes with the feel. The haunting feel, ghostly vocals, and slow pace all contribute to the feeling of the end of life. While the topic of death is often explored in Evanescenceβs music, it is most prominent in other songs such as βDemiseβ and βAscension of the Spirit.β βDemiseβ feels like acceptance of whatβs to come, while the instrumental part of βAscension of The Spiritβ sounds like the title; a spirit lifting above. I also think the silence is intentional: I think it represents the perspective of nothing happening after death, or there being space between dying and the afterlife. The instrumental part could represent the afterlife.
My Immortal 1998 version: The first thing I noticed about this song is how raw and vulnerable it feels. Itβs just Amy and her piano, perfectly unedited and real. I also love the lyrics in the bridge that are connected to this version only.
Whisper 2002 version: The intro is what makes me love this version so much. Itβs epic, powerful and unexpected. It gives an intense energy, as well as sounding amazing. I also love Amyβs vocals, and the guitar.
Imaginary Demo Version 1: The changed lyrics in the bridge, and the feel of the song sounds different in an awesome way. (Although I love all versions of Imaginary)
Forever You: This song seems to be part of its own unique genre, and I love the overall melody.
Farther Away (both the demo and Fallen outtake) The melody is my favorite part of the song, and the lyrics are powerful as well. The Fallen Outtake version is heavier while the demo is directed more towards pop music. However, both of them work and are great in their own way.
So after listening to and loving the cd of fallen I happened to have, I recently bought the open door and self titled on cd and was wondering what songs you guys thought would be best for drumming. So far I'm thinking about either sweet sacrifice, what you want or sick although im open to recommendations!
Currently my favourites from fallen to play are- tourniquet, going under, everybody's fool and bring me to life and imaginary. Really excited to get playing some more of their albums.
Or anything equally horrendous of that nature
Does anyone have the dowloadable preset on guitar rig 5 for Evanescence? Would appreciate a lot
I remember back in like 2003 or something, the AC stations in my neck of the woods (Idaho Falls "metro") growing up hammered this song that sounded a lot like Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life." Mom loved it. Here's all I remember from the song - the pre-chorus:
Amy Lee-type:
Day by day I drive you home
[Until] one more [hit] of you
(Rhythmic guitar kicks in, singing goes to a chanty whisper)
You're messin me up
You're messin me up
(Ben Moody-type): C'mon!
You're messin me up
You're messin me up
(Ben Moody-type): Yeah!
EDIT: Oh shoot there's one other lyric the Amy Lee-type before(?) the guitar part: "Systematic prophecy [denying] [on your back] [I guess what's your timing?]".
Was I on drugs or is this a real song? Because it comes into my head once a day anymore.
Here's the song skip to 2:00 if the link doesn't automatically do it (it should).
I can't find anything else with a sound like this! What else have you got for me?
An hour ago I realized that few songs from the album "Evanescence" are not playable anymore such as Made Of Stone, The Change and The Other Side. Anyone has an idea of what is happening? Also many songs and albums from other artists are not available anymore since about an hour ago.
PS: this is happening in Italy
No foolin'!
#Introduction The song spotlight is a recurring topic on this subreddit, where every week we will feature a different song included in the game or its DLC and discuss things like how to play its different riffs, techniques to focus on and more casual things like some interesting trivia or the artist's other work. Finally we'll conclude with a score attack challenge, a random entrant of which will be offered to choose the next song.
The format will change depending on feedback and participation, so don't hesitate to send suggestions myself or the mods in general.
#This Week: "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence
#Score Attack Challenge Submit your score attack results by sending brtd90 a message including your score and a screenshot of the results screen you see after your playthrough. A readable photo of your screen is fine too.
Scores will be included at the bottom of next week's spotlight divided based on the difficulty level (you can play any difficulty you'd like) and are tracked separately for lead, rhythm and bass.
A random entrant will get to pick next week's song!
Scores can be submitted until Sunday, April 7th at 17:00 UTC.

I'm just curious. I know these past few tours have been in the US but they did perform in Mexico City in the past so I was wondering what they did.
We all know Evanescence have great covers out there so I'm curious as to which songs you'd like them (or Amy solo) to cover.
My list (I know half of it is Portishead):
And do a studio version of Orestes.
It says it's 4:22 long. At 2:20 it abruptly ends. It sounds to me like this is the legitimate song up to that point.
I'm pretty certain it used to be OK.
The "Synthesis" version is from a later album.
