At Wrestlemania Backlash, we saw something pretty frightening. There were actual zombies at the Lumberjacks in the Damien Priest/Miz match. These zombies watched the match but when a Superstar got out of the ring, the zombies tried eating Priest or Miz. Eventually, the zombies succeeded and got Morrison and Miz. For Morrison, he is still alive as he appeared on Raw. Miz is gone. Miz wasn't at Raw and Morrison dedicated his match to him as he didn't know the outcome of the zombies eating Miz. In all likelihood, Miz was eaten and a zombie somewhere.
First off, these zombies were an absolute surprise. I don't think Damien Priest had zombies in mind when he wanted the Lumberjack match. Alas, Batista somehow got these zombies at Wrestlemania Backlash. I was looking for Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows but there were no zombies that looked like him.
When watching, it was sad to see these zombies because when you think about it, those zombies were once alive. They were actual people. Some of those zombies could've been WWE fans and know some of the Superstars. Now, they don't know anything about themselves or WWE. They just want to eat human beings.
Well, they ate some human beings. It appears they just bit Morrison as he showed up on Raw. He probably tasted bad. Miz though, is gone. The zombies enjoyed him and he is now one of them as he was eaten. While I don't like Miz, I didn't wish him this fate. To be eaten alive and think about Maryse and the kids in his last moments as his life is waning is absolutely devastating. And now Miz is somewhere with these zombies while Maryse and the kids no longer have Miz in the household anymore.
While we see zombies in media like Walking Dead or video games, we know it's a show or a game. What we witnessed was real and not a fantasy or entertainment. We saw the end of a human life and the birth of a zombie. Somewhere out there, the zombie of Miz is out there and that is not fake or some sort of fantasy. That is 100% real and while no one likes Miz, no one wished for Miz to end this way.
I don't even know what to say at this point.
