A list of puns related to "Virtual reality headset"
Platform(s): Oculus brand VR headset
Genre: Psychological Horror / Mystery / Sci-Fi
Estimated year of release: 2015-2020
Graphics/art style: Fairly simple first-person game taking place on a spaceship. The assets used are very simple and uncomplicated. The majority of the spaceship has smooth, grey metal walls with orange trim. The doors are metal and have portholes at eye level. They also require the player to pull on the handle to open them.
The game has an extremely small map consisting of only a few areas:
The player's bedroom - Full of interesting knickknacks with warm colors. The bed frame is attached to the wall next to a round window. The left side of the room has a small desk. On the desk is a simple 80's style monitor with a built in camera. A single green cord connects the monitor to the wall, which can be cut by the player to disable the camera. On the right of the room is a food dispenser. You push the button and a nutrient bar plops out. There is also a small chance to recieve a muffin instead. In the center of the room is a large easel with a canvas and paint. On the first day the canvas is empty. As the days progress the canvas shows various paintings, each more disturbing than the last. On one of the final days, the canvas is broken against the wall, implying your character destroyed it in a fit of rage. The player's bedroom has a single door leading directly to the hall. There is also a vent above the computer which connects to the Lab.
The Greenhouse/Lab - A small room containing trays of plants, a water purifier, a shelf, and an aquarium. The aquarium takes up the entire right wall and cannot be interacted with in any way. The shelf contains a wrench, garden shears, and instructions for using the water filter. There is also a conveyer belt which is used to transport vegetables from the garden to the kitchen quickly. Below the aquarium is a vent cover which can be unscrewed with the wrench, and entering it takes the player back to the bedroom.
The hallway - A singular U-shaped hallway. There are several full-length windows along it that give a view of space. At the far right end of the hall is the captain's quarters. There is a significantly long walk between the captain's door and the rest of the rooms, as you are not supposed to enter it. The captain's room is always locked and cannot be entered, except during >!the final scene, which allows you to get Ending #2.!< On the far left of the hall is the elev

Thanks!
(Maybe it'd be available to first class passengers only. Then again, it likely wouldn't be possible to suspend belief that much unless someone was as high as I am right now.)
Really good, short game that packs a lot of story into such a small area. I'm hoping to recommend this game to some friends who I think would enjoy it because it's not difficult, just requiring critical thinking for some parts. It's also a free game, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a VR headset but can't get many games on it.
It would really make my day if anyone knew the name of the game or had a link to its store page.
It's just a simple VR game. It was free. The store page had photos of gray, metallic hallways with orange trim. The doors were rectangular with rounded corners, and each one had a porthole at eye level. There is an AI who guides you through your tasks who looks a lot like Wheatley from Portal. There's nothing else noteworthy about the map or characters.
All the videos I looked up on the game claimed it had only one ending. Which is false, because I found four endings. The only ending I could find on YouTube was Ending 1, which is honestly my least favorite.
Also, I am like 60% sure the name of the ship's AI was Theodore. He looked very similar to Wheatley from Portal.
Spoilers for the game duh.
Gameplay:
As the only person aboard, your job is to take care of the ship on its very long journey through space. Your only companion is the ship's AI, Theodore, who is very nice as long as you obey him. There are only six or so days of gameplay, but each day is set further apart from the last, showing how your character's mental state is degrading over time. Each morning you are restrained in a dentist's chair and forced to take a psychological evaluation. Each question has two pictures you can choose between as your answer. As the days pass, the questions and atmosphere becomes darker, more distorted, until you cannot ignore the fact that something is very wrong here. Though it is a horror game, >!there are no monsters, but you will feel like there is one in certain rooms. It is incredible to me how unnerving an atmosphere can be with a few distorted questions, some ominous noises, and the undeniable feeling of being both alone and not alone at the same time.!< After the exam, Theodore instructs you with a simple chore for the day, such as pruning the crops in the greenhouse. You can choose not to listen to Theodore and he will become grumpier, and certain choices will unlock alternate endings. Each playthrough is about 1 hour long and you need at minimum four playthroughs to get all the endings.
