Iβm a returning player, lvl.27. I tried playing again a week or two last month after 2 years of leaving post game launch. It was ok, but I soon found myself uninstalling once more. Come just a week ago, I found out the the August community day is Raltsβ - I was thrilled! A childhood friend of mine caught a shiny ralts circa 2004 in his emerald, I was so jealous of his blue Gardevoir, and this here was an opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of getting one for myself - god knows how long I d-pad camped that one patch of tall grass! I prepped up, shelled out for the extra 50 storage, and freed up plans for my whole Saturday.
Problem was, weather here in the Philippines is a shrill. It rained, it got windy, got cloudy, and then the rain poured on some more. I was amazed by how many turned up for cd in UST since the campus didnβt have classes today.
In the end I caught around 250 ralts and 10 shinies, off of that, I transferred all the low cp and under 2 stars - leaving me with around 15 tradable ralts, 6 left over shinies, a respectable 2250 cp Gardevoir, an ok 2188 cp Gallade (both with Synchronoise), and a pair of sore calves thatβll bite me in the morning. I walked around the campus at a distance of around 12km under 3 hours - for reference, thatβs approximately the distance I cover inside the campus in an average semester! Itβs probably not much by pogo player standards, but prior to this, I was a bonafide couch potato, so that numberβs pretty high in my book.
I think Iβll make it a habit to attend community days from now on, itβs good for my health and going out every month with the intent to actually exercise has helped me more than that time I got a gym membership (cheaper too). I still donβt see myself opening the game more than twice a week, but the monthly turnout in the campus looks promising. If anyone plays in or around UST, hit me up in the dmβs, I could really use raiding buddies!
Hey there! I donβt know, I feel like I havenβt been around lately, with my health going up and down for the past few weeks due to an allergic reaction to summer heat and the season change, but I guess Iβm feeling quite better now! And recently, I went back to the university I finished my undergraduate degree, and got some postcards from our museum! They are of portraits and statues found inside the UST museum. I could send 5 of them with a machine cancelled stamp from the university post office as well (they donβt sell stamps anymore ;( what a shame).
Pick any number from 1-100 and let me know a positive quote/mantra you live by. Iβll randomly choose who those lucky 5 are going to be on Saturday! :) Good luck!
Edit: Fulfilled! Winners will be messaged shortly!

So I'm taking a shot here in reddit, hope I'm lucky!
