A list of puns related to "Universities Australia"
Do you think that tuition should be abolished at universities or is the current loan repayment system good enough as is?
EDIT: Also meant to type "Do you think that university in Australia should be tuition free or should the current system be maintained?" but autocorrect on my phone screwed it up somehow and I can't edit the title sadly.
Don't get angry, this is a genuine question as an International student.
Students are ready to get into T300 US university and give up on T100 university somewhere else like Canada. Why, I have no idea.
Hi, Iβm looking into doing a research degree (Masters and/or PhD) in Australia. Iβve looked at QS World Rankings etc., and it seems the βbestβ universities for Lit Studies/English Lit are USYD & the University of Melbourne. ANU and the University of Queensland seem to come next, although Iβve heard about them far less (I live in New Zealand, and am approaching the end of undergrad, so Iβm not overly familiar with the Australian academic landscape). Are ANU and UQ seen as prestigious universities for research degrees in literary studies? Are there any others you would recommend? I should probably mention that I am only interested in going to a university that looks appealing on an academic CV - this is not to say that there arenβt plenty of great universities out there, but my understanding is that to even have a tiny shot at working in academia, you have to have gone to certain unis. Thanks in advance.
Edit: Iβm most interested in contemporary literature, ecocriticism, feminism, labour theory, ethics, human-animal relations, Canadian & Australian literatureβ¦ obviously Iβm yet to refine a research area, but my question is mostly about reputation overall for English Lit.
Looking for the 8 other people who got into Macquarie University AY22/23 (July - Nov)! Dm meπ If youβre heading to Australia but another university, comment below too!
Iβm an international student and I want to know some of the good universities in the us, uk, Canada, and Australia that offer some genuine financial aid or scholarships. It would be nice to help
So here's my situation: I've just graduated from a double-degree BA, English lit. and creative writing, and I'm currently living abroad (Aus. citizen, though).
Against advice from teachers I know in NSW, and my better judgement based on how I have seen the profession be treated in recent years, I'm keen on pursuing a Master of Teaching (Primary), but won't be able to return to Australia for at least another year.
To further this, I'm trying to find the most suitable university in Australia to enrol in for completing the qualification via remote learning. I understand that practical work is a big part of the second year of MTeach, but from what I've seen, that comes in the second year - by which time I would expect to have returned.
So I'm posting here in the hopes of garnering recommendations for universities that have good systems in place for remote learning. State/territory doesn't matter, so long as their support of remote students is top-tier. If you've studied remotely, are currently studying remotely, or just know someone who studied remotely, I'd love to hear from you!
This is for AUSTRALIA btw.
I'm planning to do a Bachelor of Urban Planning probably in Curtin or Western Sydney University. So, I want to ask whether employers care about the University I get the degree from or not?
ALSO does can anyone comment about how the JOB MARKET in WESTERN AUSTRALIA is?
Thank You In Advance.
I plan to get entrance into the master course of audiology at an accredited university in Australia. Does anyone know which university gives students a leg up in the labor market in terms of each university's education, advantages of location as well as some strategies each state is scheduled to implement to support foreign students getting employed resulting in achieving Permanent Residence? FYI on my background : I currently work for Japanese Pharmaceutical company as a quality control coordinator with previous 2 year- term as a quality control researcher after graduating on the postgraduate school with master degree of medical life science in Japan. I'm currently searching for the most suitable university to achieve my goal, but I'm strapped with the haphazard information placement online. Thus, I really appreciate it if someone knowledgeable in Australia kindly give me some advice. I cannot make up my mind to choose which one I should further my education into, especially among Flinders uni, uni of Western Australia and Queensland uni. Or are others better than these uni?
I have been doing some research for a while as I want to study at the University of Sydney in 2023 and am trying to find some sort of student loan-like study link that are eligible for New Zealand Citizens but not in the special category visa. I know about the Commonwealth-supported place, but are there actual loans for the cost of living? Thanks
Why are we so crazy about US?
