I'm very interested in future tech and GIS research. I was wondering if anyone knew of universities or specific researchers or other professionals that specialized in adapting and innovating GIS for new technology such as augmented/virtual reality or other tech advances. I am look for a Master's program in this area for after I finish my bachelors and found it hard to find through online research. Thanks!
Drone Masters,
I have just finished my senior year in school where my senior project was to design and build a drone for collecting water samples. I must have done pretty well because I have an offer to work in the drones lab over the summer. I have a ton of ideas on what to build and what to investigate, but I wanted to hear input from those who have been in the drones game longer.
So, what is big right now? Building smaller racing drones? Building bigger drones that can carry items for long distances?
Also, if anyone is interested in collaboration I would love to see what you have done and I can show you my work.
