Before I start this story I have to add a bit of backstory. I am a 19yr old male and when I was younger (around 14) I used to do Taekwondo classes, I was a black belt at the time and I really enjoyed it. We had a few incidents where parents would take there aggressive kids into classes for a free trial but they where mostly delt with by the instructor, but nothing makes my blood boil like this incident.
I did Taekwondo on every Tuesday and Thursday for around an hour. While on Thursdays I was in an age requirement class which was 13+ so most kids had common sense and it was tougher than Tuesdayβs which had no age requirement and I was helping the instructor teach as I had done training for it which helped me with getting a job because I was planning on working in a place like that. So one Tuesday afternoon (10 minutes after the class had started) a EM runs up the stairs making a ruckus with her whining EK (who looked around 7). The instructor lets me know that Iβll take over for awhile as he goes and assists the EM and EK. While Iβm showing the class (who were mostly young kids around 7-9) how to do a certain punch, the EK bursts through the door and runs straight over to the punching bags. He proceeds to push me over (as I was crouching) and start punching the bag. I stand up immediately and say to the EK in a semi-unhappy tone βhey you canβt be doing that to othersβ He immediately stopped punching the bag and says I kid you not βF*** off you c**tβ I stare in shock at the kid who was younger than most people in the room that was using language that I wouldnβt even use on my worst day. The EK then skips away like nothing happened. While still in shock I continue the class as I would tell the instructor after he returned about the incident. I look over to the EK who was saying something to his EM (which I assume was about me) while she was purchasing a uniform. She stops and looks over to me in pure disgust then says something to the instructor who had a confused look. Thatβs when another kid grabbed my arm and asked for my help with a punch. I gladly go over and help him to get out of that situation.
About 10 minutes later the EK comes out of the toilets wearing a uniform with a wet stain on it already (which we can all agree on what it was) and he proceeds to start talking to the other kids about his Minecraft world. Luckily the instructor overheard this and went over to tell the EK to listen or sit out. In which he replies βFineeeeeeeβ The instruct

Unfortunately, I didnβt follow this story very closely when it was happening, so it took a little bit of time to get all caught up. Most of the stuff in here is coming from reading articles on what happened β so if Iβve missed out on anything, please feel free to add it in the comments. Hereβs the story of how Serena Williamsβ triumphant return to tennis ended up turning into an unmitigated dumpster fire.
Background
Serena Williams. You all know her, or have at least heard of her. Arguably the greatest female tennis player of all time, Serena has dominated tennis for the better part of her 25+ year long career. Sheβs broken barriers, set new records, become a fashion icon, and oh, sheβs married to that Reddit nerd. Williams is so popular and well known that her name is almost synonymous with tennis.
One of the metrics on which great tennis players are judged is Grand Slams, the most prestigious tournaments in tennis. There are four held every year β the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. Serena has 23 Grand Slam titles, the highest in the Open Era, and the second-highest overall (it would be a little too complicated to explain what the βOpen Eraβ is, but you can read more about it here. Very briefly β prior to 1968, Grand Slams did not allow professional tennis players to compete, and as a result, player who went βproβ were excluded. This means that the level of competition at these Slams was a bit lower than it should have been, given that many of the best players, who had chosen to make money off their talent, were not allowed to compete. This changed in 1968, when Grand Slams decided to let pros compete in tournaments alongside amateurs β the period from then is known as the βOpen Eraβ).
The only person with more Grand Slam titles than Serena is Margaret Court, who has 24. Court is a controversial figure in tennis β although her peers, including Billie Jean King, consider

Just for those who donβt know:
EM-entitled mother EK- entitled kid Me- I wonder who that could be S-sister Gf- my girlfriend T-teacher H-headmaster I am on mobile please be nice, on with the story.
So I am 16, almost 17, and my sister is 14. We were raised by a single dad who is ex-military and firmly believes if someone starts a fight with you, then you should end it. I attend a pretty swanky boarding school in the UK, and thereβs plenty of EMs and EKs running around, but are the sort of βrich and donβt realize theyβre a bit denseβ sort of people. Me and my sister are in separate boarding houses but see each other most days. I love my sister, and often feel the need to stick up for her. In the boarding house next to mine there is EK, he is 17 and a very unpleasant young lad. Heβs not particularly bright as a student, but heβs in the first-team for rugby and is generally quite athletic. Heβs been known to be a bully for a while now, but he also seems to have a darker side, and many girls have accused him of making creepy comments and openly threatening them.
Around the start of October our drama class began to do casting for High School Musical. S is absolutely obsessed with it for some reason, so me being the good brother and one of the favorite drama students (I literally take it as a scholarship), I managed to get her a role as a back-up dancer, and she was really happy. EK also decided he wanted a foray into drama, and was also cast as a back-up dancer, since his acting and singing were questionable at best. This means he was working closely with S and the other dancers most of the time. No problem right? Wrong. S tells me in the first two days that he was already getting creepy with her and some of the other girls, more concerningly, younger back-up dancers. I talked with my gf about it and decided the next day Iβd have a polite word with him (Iβm slightly autistic so I sometimes need guidance on how to handle things like this). Next day when I went into the drama room I clearly heard him say something which I will not repeat here to S and another girl. I walked up to him, already not in a fantastic mood, and said something along the lines of βdonβt you dare say that to my sister, or any of the girls here, you understand?β. This bitch replies, dead-ass βor what?β. This next part I clearly didnβt th

I'll try to provide as direct as a quote as possible, but sometimes in the course of talking/conversation, things get jumbled, but this is the gist. I preface this by saying listen for yourselves to get the most accurate context to what he was saying and to get the words straight from his mouth. Again, I'm presenting them as quotes here, but it's very difficult to one-to-one match everything, exactly as it was said, given the nature of his speaking pattern and host interruptions.
FINDING OUT JOE WAS LEAVING
"Look, the only thing I'll say, that's new information, is, like, I was fucking shocked when I found out, too. You know what I mean? I didn't necessarily see that coming. But, you know, he's ... he's a friend and I'm not going to talk about his personal life, which is clearly where he's gone to dwell now. So, it is what it is."
He later went on to say ...
"I don't even know what happened, and I'm in the middle of it" and that he even doesn't "understand the whole thing."
WONDERING ABOUT SHOW'S IMMEDIATE IMPACT & DECIDING TO KEEP GOING
"I''m happy to talk about the show, umm ... which is, we're back to work, and we're finding ... you know, look man, it's fucking, we initially we didn't even know ... is this even worth doing without Joe, but you just look at it, and you're like, yeah, I want to keep doing it. ... I mean, if I left the show, I wouldn't want the guys to stop just because I left type thing."
"... And now, and look, fuck man, there's so many negatives to Joe not being there. We're losing a comedic powerhouse and stuff, but there's nothing we can do I guess than just, accept that it is what it is, and give ourselves persmission to have fun. And once I got through that feeling, it's been a fucking blast. It's almost a new show now."
Q also mentioned that Joe was so instrumental behind the scenes, and people are stepping in to fill in the gaps as best they can.
HOW THE SHOW WILL CHANGE NOW & HOW THAT MIGHT BE A HEALTHY THING
Q acknowledge why the show as successful, saying that the four of them complimented each other's parts well, hiding each other's weaknesses and playing to strengths.
With Joe gone now, there is an opportunity to break from some conventions, though.

TL/DR: EM drags us to silly big-money church play, my kid steals baby-jesus's thunder then shoves chicken bedding down EM's shirt in front of everyone.
While I have a decent relationship with my Mother, she went through a midlife crisis where she hard transitioned from a Bi pseudo-pagan wild-child to a straight laced & evangelized social and corporate ladder climber.
Many things were forced upon myself and my sibling who is a couple years younger than I. It seemed like EM was never satisfied as she became obsessed with presentation of our (her) status and turned into a rather controlling and semi-manipulative snooty-booty, a quasi-Karen if you will. The funny part is our background is humble hill-folk, a fact I don't let her forget, ever.
Some Highlights:
-She subjected all my friends to moral and economic scrutiny and treated the ones whose parents weren't also adequately 'elevated' as members of a servant class, only allowing stayovers when yard work or labor was required (I'd get picked up at six AM the next day if away from home.) She would also pay the better off ones more for the value of their labor. My girlfriends were also never up to her standards and I always caught an earful and had my interests and hobbies constantly pooped on.
-We upgraded three houses in seven years, and we swapped cars constantly to whatever made her look good for the trend of the time. (fancy SUV-> fancy sport car->smart car->fancy hybrid.) She even put a dog through college (paid someone else to take it to dog shows.)
-I had no choice in whether or not I went to a four year college despite wanting take my gen-eds at a two year. Thankfully I didn't have to take a loan and escape portal'd via the military. Even then while she no longer could cajole, threaten, or command me to do what she wanted, she was constantly pressuring me to push away old friends and my then fiance (now spouse) so they wouldn't 'drag me down', and now resorts to whining and begging as her default manipulation tactic.
Now on to the story!
A couple years after I left, she 'upgraded' husbands (step-dad/SD) and joined his large baptist church community. She definitely touts the born again evangelized lifestyle and while I have no
