A list of puns related to "Tomorrow Never Dies (song)"
I grew up with all the Brosnan films on home media but this one takes me back to my childhood the most when Sheryl Crow's theme song starts up. It's hard to explain but that song in particular reminds me of good times!
I get it's silly, and I get that Daniel Craig has taken Bond in a completely different direction, but I've always been of the opinion that the James Bond you grew up with will be your favourite. For my Dad, that's Sean Connery. For me, it's Pierce Brosnan.
Of course Goldeneye was great and Xenia is incredible. For years I didn't realize it was Famke Janssen. But being a huge Kung Fu fan, I absolutely adored Michelle Yeoh as a Bond girl. The BMW scenes were great as was the motor bike section. The music is good, Q and M (and the Admiral) are fantastic, and it's got a truly incredible opening. I was really surprised to see Joblo say it was terrible.
What do you guys think?
Title. Brosnan is my favorite Bond (even though Craig has my favorite Bond films) and the way TND depicts Media Manipulation is freaking brilliant and perfect. I wholeheartedly think this is Brosnan's best Bond film and in my top 5 Bond films. :)
My choice is Tomorrow, I think itβs a very fun and exciting movie.
For me the main issue with The world is not enough is that despite how much I want to love it, every time I see it found it dull, long and with bad action scenes. Of course Brosnan is amazing, Marceau is great and the pre title sequence is a great action scene (the only good one in the movie in my opinion) but i think itβs not enough to save this movie.
In my opinion is a fantastic and fun movie.
Pierce is amazing, the Bond girl is great and the villain is not bad

So I play bass and I really wanted to learn how to play Tomorrow Never Dies because it's one of my favorite 5sos songs, but I cannot find any tabs anywhere. I don't know how to play by ear yet, so tabs and tutorials are the only way I can play songs. Anyone know where I can find how to play TND?
I've noticed recently on here that a lot of people rate Tomorrow Never Dies fairly highly in their rankings of favourite Bond films.
Personally, it has never been a "favourite" of mine. Yes, I like ALL Bond films in their own way, but Tomorrow Never Dies has always been at the bottom end of my own personal list.
There are great moments in it; the pre-titles sequence is pretty bad-ass, Carver is a very "current" villain in today's world, and the killing of Dr. Kauffman is incredible. But overall I feel the film is just a generic 90s action film, where Bond could have been played by Bruce Willis or Arnie; like the the plot is just set up to move to the next action scene.
We Bond fans know that the films are very subjective, so I am very interested to know why the lovers of this film love it so much...?

Why was the 007 game Goldeneye more successful than Tomorrow Never Dies?
Personally, I loved 007 Goldeneye and used to play it all the time - even with friends who had those mini TVs - and we would split the screen four ways! Excellent memories!
Believe it or not, I recently found the old 007 Goldeneye game for n64 at home!
Do you think the success of Goldeneye has to do with it being a similar format to Perfect Dark for N64? Or is it vice-versa whereby Perfect Dark was more successful because of Goldeneye?
Rewatching this movieβ¦fire!! The premise is spot on with todayβs current events. Ahead of its time. Movie is grounded by a lot of realism. Has anyone noticed that βStamperβ was definitely inspired by Red Grant from βFrom Russia With Loveβ? What are yβallβs thoughts on this second Brosnan outing?
I happened to watch these two movies in immediate succession as I could not remember either of them. Their final acts felt very similar to me, and I will list the reasons I found them similar (spoilers will follow):
I know that many Bond movies follow a formula, but these felt very familiar. I was curious if anyone else felt they were similar? Also, is there any other discussion about this?
After hearing a bunch of rumors regarding these two, I figure I ask, do workprints for Goldeneye & Tomorrow Never Dies exist? Tomorrow Never Dies I heard was floating around on the alt video trading site in 1998. Goldeneye, I hear is out there but hoadered. A private message I got a year ago suggests that there were no extra scenes and was property tagged.
Can anyone shed light on this?
Class Trial 67-2 has concluded. Just lime last time, I'll likely give my own self-evaluation in the comments eventually. For now, here's the questions I wanted to ask.

Thank you for your participation.
In another topic about Bond recently, I took note of the fact that seemingly the majority consensus is that GoldenEye was the only GOOD Brosnan Bond film.
It struck me as a bit odd, because Tomorrow Never Dies exists, and Iβve always thought it was a pretty good Bond adventure. But the fact that so many seemed to not care for it got me thinking- Does it actually suck, and I just donβt realize it?
So I wanted to ask you all what you think of TND. Good, bad, indifferent- where does TND land on your hierarchy of Bond flicks?
Both offer some solid action, performances, villains, and music, but which do you think is the superior film? I think TWINE slightly edges TND out, but what do you guys think?
It's fast paced, action packed and contains some of the greatest gadgets in the whole series. I get that it didn't have the emotional weight of GE or TWINE but it's most certainly a full on adrenaline fueled ride!
Always surprised me that this film continues to split the fan base down the middle. I get that it isn't the deepest 007 adventure but it's all out entertainment, from start to finish! I'll always defend this gem.
Did anyone like the Tomorrow Never Dies game on PS1?
