A list of puns related to "Tin(II) oxide"
He just wanted to see some snow.
I was told SnO2 is named Tin(IV) Oxide because of the charge on oxygen, which will have a total of 4+ charge, which is why it has (IV). But when I was naming Cr2O3 on homework the answer was chromium(III) oxide! Shouldn't it be (VI) because oxygen has +2 charge and that would be 6? Thanks
This is a post on twitter, I'm pretty new to Reddit and couldn't figure out how to make a proper DD post with links and images, so, you're getting linked to my twitter...I'm going to be creating threats on various products and OEM partners, every day I will be releasing info on the company and irrefutably linking them.

Hey. What's up? Yeah, it's been a good while. Don't remind me how long. Kept seeing some people do what I did, so I thought, "what the?" and "their posts are more popular than mine!" and "it's time to return". Let's pretend I never left and their posts never happened. Cool? Cool! But seriously, check their posts out. They got great thoughts.
Picking up from my slumber, I return to look at the second and final Tin Machine album. This is seen to many as Bowie's worst. Worse than his worst. Worse than his worst worst. I have never listened to a song on this album. This is the final album I'm going in blind. The rest I've either heard all of it or in capacity.
With an itch to place my name as king of reviews on this sub (which is not a great title to have), let's get into it.
Baby Universal - Digging it so far. Love the rock sound. Bowie sounds great here so far. Sounds similar to his later albums. Kind of like his Starman days as well. I don't got lots to say about this one, but it's a nice tune to sit and listen to. I dig this one. Hopefully the rest of this album has this type of tune. Great tune. 4/5.
One Shot - Nice distortion guitar in the beginning. Hmm. Not so sure what to think about this one. Usually when I go in blind I try not to say much. I don't know what to feel. This is slightly less than the first but the guitar is great. It shouldn't be left in the dust. It's a good song. Yeah not bad. 3.5/5.
You Belong In Rock & Roll - Bowie sounds seductive in this one. Damn I'm liking this one as well. Yeah this one isn't what I expected it to be, and that's not a dig on it. It's a good song. Same level as the previous song. I find this one interesting. I think this song with the title it has should have leaned a bit more on the hard rock side, but soft rock isn't bad. Wish it went harder. 3.5/5.
If There Is Something - Okay, something harder. That's what she said. This one sounds like any other band could've made it. It's a bit fast. This one doesn't do it for me. It doesn't sound unique. I probably shouldn't judge these songs to a high standard since it's not "Bowie" if you get my meaning, but I can't help it. I do like the guitar, which is this songs saving grace. Other than that, eh. 2.5/5.
Amlapura - Hours before Hours. That's all I can describe of it. It isn't that good. It's a side off. If it was in Hours, it would fit in. This one doesn't to me. If this was a single, then it would've worked, but it's part of the albu
I enjoyed TM1 a lot, I hope this one grows on me. It's my 2nd time listening and I want to pay attention this time. Let's see what they got.
1. Baby Universal: this song does a good job on hyping me for the rest of the album, I really like it. It kinda loses me in the first verse but after it the whole song gets great. Not sure what the lyrics are about but they remind me of the Internet and computers. It's not as pessimistic as Saviour Machine tho.
2. One Shot: getting some Young Americans vibes on these backing vocals haha. Not much into it so far but it's a good track. Gabrels going crazy in the background, great. This might grow on me.
3. You Belong in Rock & Roll: is this a Never Let Me Down song? Would have fit perfectly. Another one that might grow on me with time, now I'm just nodding and nothing more. It's repetitive but it's nice.
4. If there is Something (Roxy Music cover): third song in a row that I just can't connect with even though I found them very solid. I guess it's just strange for me to hear Bowie doing straightforward solid rock after all. I'm digging the bass and guitar (pointless to say I'm digging whatever Gabrels do) and I liked that thing in the ending going from left to right. Cool cover.
5. Amlapura: hours vibes. The mix is gorgeous, I'm into it. Its got a bliss of its own, like it exists in its own world, I'm pretty sure no cover of this would please me. It makes me feel like I'm on this journey, searching for this jewel that's actually a place (beautiful place). This is already one of my favorite tracks on the album, and on hours. Only the chorus puts me off a bit but it's little, I like the song.
6. Betty Wrong: meh. I don't like it so there's not much I can't say about it. But the chorus is good.
7. You Can't Talk: try me. I like the instrumental but the verses just don't get there for me. They remind me of African Night Flight a bit but are definitely not as good. Overall I like the song, it's a pretty catchy bop.
8. Stateside: Hunt Sales (drummer) singing, and I'm not crazy about it. The lyrics are a bit too dull for me but it's a really solid blues rock song. Its kind of a fan favorite too, I guess.
9. Shopping for Girls: the opening riff gives me Because You're Young vibes. The song is interesting, the lyrics seem to have that protest tone so common in TM1. I'm not sure what the lyrics are about but I like the tense feeling. I like the song but honestly its far from my fav
... keep reading on reddit β‘I got my first soldering station a few days ago. It has a very basic temperature controller, just a knob on the station (with no temperature sensor) and is cheap. When i first tried it I knew that I had to tin it, but I had to turn the power to the max for it to melt, only to not stick and fall off. Then I observed that it had gotten black, and found out after that it meant that it was oxidized. I tried to clean it using the flux in the solder, but I had to resort to using a very high grit sandpaper to clean the oxidation. I was very cautions to not damage the iron plating. The oxidation dissapeared rapidly, but when I tried to turn it on and tin it so it won't oxidize, the solder melted only after it oxidized again. Is there a way to prevent it? Is there something wrong with the tip and I need to replace it, or with the station itself? The station model is Duratool d02265. I'm using lead/tin solder with rosin core. I don't know the proportion of lead to tin, but the marketed melting temperature is 183Β°C (or 360Β°F). Sorry for the bad english.
