Tiger quolls, native to eastern Australia, are the world's second largest extant carnivorous marsupials, behind the Tasmanian devil. After female quolls give birth, it takes nearly 70 days for their young to finally open their eyes. This is a video of a tiger quoll filmed in the wild.

Tiger Quolls are small, carniverous marsupials who like eating Cane Toads.
Sadly, Cane Toads produce a psychoactive substance that kills them, thus the species is endangered. Therefore, researchers have started making sausages out of toads and lacing them with a toxin that makes the quolls nauseous. Scientists are wanting to disperse these special toad sausages over areas of Australia in the hopes that they make a lot of small marsupials vomit.

Tiger quolls have a moist pink nose and razor sharp teeth for crushing invertebrates. During copulation, the male will hold the back of the female's neck with his teeth. The female typically receives lacerations to the back of her neck, and can even be killed on occasion.

If you were to be a male quoll, being a tiger quoll could be favorable. Their mating behavior is unique among the quoll species in that the female vocalizes when in estrus and easily accepts the male's mounting.
