My afternoon be like

Mechanics are unimportant. There's no serious tag but I'd appreciate not having to sift through junk answers.

Our story begins in the Free Year 938. The players will be caught up in the War of the Second Dragon (Guaire Amalasan's conquest that was stopped by Artur Hawkwing). There are lots of tidbits throughout the books of the history of the various nations going back to the Breaking - but that's all. Tidbits. There isn't a lot of detail about the campaigns of Guaire Amalasan, for instance. What dungeons are there to crawl, or towns to conquer, in Farashelle? Aldeshar? What factions might be at play in various areas? Against who? I have a story arc planned out and a general overview of major events, but I need to start putting together all the fun tiny pieces to make it good. If you want to expound on someone else's idea go for it. Could be a location, a plot, device, whatever.

If you're so inclined, I'd love some ideas to work with. I'll worry about cataloging everything and making it all fit.

Some of the factions at play in the party:

• Green Ajah Aes Sedai, her Warder
• A small group of male channelers trained by Guaire (like Cha Faile size, not huge) (one PC will be a member)

Aemon's Field must get a cameo in the adventure, of course.

Anyway, just - anything. Ideas.

The game runs perfect up until the little green cube enemies. Anyone else have this issue?

Example: the evil empire which nearly destroyed the entire world a hounded years ago survived in secrecy under the infinite ice of the southern sea and is preparing an all out assault with the support of demons from hell. Just a popular conspiracy theory about the nazis with some new flavour and that is already enough as the premise for the BBEG.

What do you think? would this be something you would try out yourself? are there any conspiracies you know of which could be used in this manner?

(Yeah apologies on me asking a lot of things here, Spacebattles doesn't have a ton of this sort of thing in both threads and people to ask this)

I am planning out additional material of a non-fusion crossover fic, and I'm curious about trying to figure out what elements would be different between a typical baseline Earth and the DxD earth. I've gotten a few contradicting comments on one such thing in religion.

I've seen mention of a quote by the author that the church is a single entity, but also mention of Protestant/Catholic/Orthodox churches. Is that at any point cleared up? Because something like 'No Reformation' or 'No Iconoclasm' could have a lot of implications if explored.

Anything else that might be like that (noted historical changes/likely historical changes, population alterations, etc).

So running a tabletop game of Fallout and trying to flesh out the map. Two things I’m drawing a blank on is an idea for the experiment of a vault. Also I’ll take any ideas for random encounters in a setting set in the south in between 3 big cities.

[SPOILERS] I love the whole premise of the show but I had issues, like the time-split storytelling and pacing of it. I think I would’ve liked to see the host and other “worlds” fleshed out more. Like I wanted to see more complexity with guests’ interaction with the host besides the mind numbing killing and raping, but whatever. I mostly would’ve liked to see the other worlds explored more like how we got to spend an episode in Edo Japan and then briefly in India (I get its called WESTworld, but still, it’d be cool to see more). I just think it’s so interesting to know and understand the variety of host and their worlds from their perspectives and that’s probably why Kiksuya was one of our favorite episodes—I actually cried. I also get why a host like Dolores would want to break free into the real world, but I would’ve liked to see that progress more slowly into the third season. And the time jumping made things so confusing on top of already complex storylines—it basically made watching S2 feel like work which takes away from the fun. Regardless, I’ll be watching season 3.
