A list of puns related to "The West Wing (season 3)"
Idk what's going on with this but we're doing it.
I think we stopped at the end of season 2, so we're watching the first two episodes of season 3
Iβm not one for hypotheticals, however Iβm genuinely curious on this subs feelings on the topic. No right or wrong answer, fire away.
The FOX game in question was TNF on Oct. 31 vs. the Arizona Cardinals (Niners won 28-25, aka the Jimmy "Feels Great Baby" game)
That was the only game this season where FOX's top broadcast team (Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews, and Mike Pereira) called a 49ers game... Until this Sunday's NFC Championship between the 49ers and the Packers!!!
For context:
The Packers have had Buck-Aikman call their games three times (four counting the postseason): vs. Eagles (TNF), @ Cowboys, vs. Panthers (and vs. Seahawks last Sunday)
Nantz-Romo, CBS' top broadcast team, have called games for the Chiefs and Titans each this season four times (five counting postseason)
Nantz-Romo also called two(!!) Packers games: vs. Raiders and @ Chargers... however Nantz-Romo did not broadcast a single 49ers matchup this season
Meanwhile, the 8-8 non-playoff Dallas Cowboys were on FOX's top team of Buck-Aikman SEVEN broadcasts this season
While the 49ers did have six primetime games this season (only three of which were originally scheduled, the other three flexed into primetime), the 49ers had zero appearances on FOX (or CBS's) "Game of the Week." This is the 1:25 pm PT game that leads a network's late afternoon doubleheader window, and often times gets the highest NFL ratings
While I'm not here to sing the praises of Buck-Aikman, I just thought it was eye-opening that a team as successful as the 49ers this season had essentially been shut out from FOX's top broadcast slots during the regular season, even though FOX has the NFC rights package and the 49ers were leading the NFC for most of the year
Anyway, screw the Cowboys... let's go Niners!!! Beat the Packers this Sunday!!!
Larkin sits at 26 goals, AA is at 22, Mantha at 15, and Bertuzzi and Nyquist at 14. They all have the opportunity to hit those marks with 21 games left in the season.
Point being... the young offensive talent on this team is exciting to think about in the future. We just need some defensive/goaltending focus going forward
But the other 4?
Barring some catastrophe Denver, Utah, Portland and Houston are locks. The kings only just missed out last season and have gotten significantly better so they're almost certainly in. Removed OKC as a lock after overwhelming response.
The spurs are once again doing nothing in free agency but they can run it back and actually have point guards now. They always find a way.
The Warriors? No Klay, no KD, no Iguodala. Probably losing Looney. But they added Russell. Are they the 8th seed?
Clippers and Lakers are still waiting to find out whether or not they'll get Kawhi. But at least the clippers have the Run it back option if they don't, and they made it last year. Meanwhile if the Lakers strike out they don't have a team, and are watching the free agent market dry up real fast. There were what, 20 48! contracts given today.
Could the pelicans make it? Could the Mavericks? Both intriguing scenarios with major changes happening from last season to this season.
I'm only through the first 3 seasons, but I'm constantly blown away by how poignant the writing is. It feels like exactly what the doctor ordered in today's political landscape. Honestly makes me sad about the current state of affairs. The character building is incredible and compelling, each episode's story lines are fresh and interesting. So far, the show keeps getting better and better. Acting is fantastic, dialogue is sharp, witty, emotionally engaging, uplifting, and funny. Not surprised at all that this is considered one of the best dramas of all time. Just had to get it out there. Young people (i'm 24) you should definitely give this one a shot. And it's on netflix!

Hey guys, so I've been trying to get the wings this season. It's my first time playing Diablo. I only have one conquest left (Finished Avarice and The Thrill) and those were pretty easy. I planned to do Years of War as my third conquest but I didn't realize you can't complete it with one character. (That makes no sense to me but that's neither here nor there) With only about a week left in the season, I have no idea how I will be able to complete this last conquest. The other conquest seem really unattainable. I don't really see it as feasible to start a new character and get to GR55 in time WITH two different class sets.
What should I do here? Should I just try to do the Sprinter conquest? That one seems fairly hard. I'm running Sunwuko Monk @ 685 Paragon points, so I can steam roll through everything in storymode...but I feel like it would be trickier than that. Anyone have any advice they can give?
Edit: I got the wings - Thanks guys!
Just got a pop up as I was watching it - apparently it's leaving the platform Christmas Eve - terrible timing! Anyone know where else it is streaming?
