Every single actor who left was taken out immediately. Does this signal a potential return or his story isn't done?
After blocking his face with his hand (signal of feeling shame) and muttering about how he "gets" that he looks like Santa Claus these days, Alec "congratulates" fellow actor and contemporary Mark Harmon on leaving the insanely successful NCIS police procedural series after 18 years.
He then relates a story about how his doddering old Mother was one of Mark's biggest fans, always asking Alec why he couldn't be more like him or on the kind of show he was.
You can FEEL his derision and scorn for Harmon in this "tribute video," it's palpable.

He sums it up with a snappy, dismissive 'so...uhhhh...congratulations' 🙄 that sounds a LOT more like a "fuck you" to me.
Long shot but I'm kinda hopeful for a S19 finale where Bishop and Gibbs making a appearance in a episode where NCIS is involved in a serious situation with Bishop and Gibbs somehow learned about all of this and comes back to DC or something like that.
I know Mark Harmon is already phasing out but I personally show should end since that would only leave one member of the OG team left

Reveal that Gibbs’ series of boats was actually a TARDIS! The way it got out of the basement was by moving just like the TARDIS does. The bullpen crew is reluctant to talk about it because they are in reality Gibbs’ companions, and they don’t want to reveal he is a time-lord! And post regeneration, the new Gibbs’ personality is somewhat different, but it’s still at heart Gibbs. So… with that silly speculation, who would be ideal to play the 2nd Gibbs?
