A comprehensive breakdown of every upcoming game under the Xbox Game Studios + Bethesda umbrella

Hey everyone! I was inspired by a post made on this sub by u/sumanovicius and with their permission, decided to make a similar post about the current state of Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda. Go check out his post if you like this one. This post will help bring together all of the rumors and currently announced games for both companies. Please keep in mind that it's a lot to keep track of so I may accidentally miss some things and if I do I'll do my best to correct it. I will not be including any DLC for existing games and some games that are listed as new IP's may end up being based on existing ones and vise-versa. I may also update this list as we get more announcements at E3. Without further ado, let's get into it.

Xbox First Party Studios

  1. 343 Industries - We all know that this studio is all hands on deck on Halo Infinite which is likely to release this holiday season. It's been said that that game has a 10 year plan so there may be subsequent story content coming out in the years after release. (1 established IP)
  2. Compulsion Games - They are working on a new IP that is supposed to be a mix between Bioshock and Uncharted. It is not yet revealed. When Phil Spencer was asked which new game he's most excited for, he mentioned this one. (1 new IP)
  3. Double Fine - The mind of Tim Schafer and his team are working on finishing up Psychonauts 2 which will launch on multiple platforms. The next gen console version is likely to be an Xbox ecosystem exclusive. They have also started working on an unannounced new IP which we likely won't hear about for a couple years. (1 established IP and 1 new IP)
  4. inXile - Brian Fargo has teased that the studio is working on multiple new RPG's. They are rumored to be working on a FPS RPG with a AAA budget (many people want that to be a new Fallout game but I don't think that will happen). We know that game will be made using UE5. The second game is unknown but is in preproduction as of January of this year. Since we know nothing about them, I am going to assume one of these is a new IP and the other is based on an existing IP (possibly another Wasteland). (1 established IP, 1 new IP)
  5. Mojang - This is the Minecraft studio and they continue to update the main game with new content as wel

It’s not my problem you don’t have an umbrella, serve us in the rain.

So my province just came out of lockdown and we have a strict outdoor dining only policy. The patio I work on specifically wraps around the side of the bar and is not covered. Therefore, when it rains, we shut down for takeout only.

I’ve worked three shifts in the rain, and the absolute audacity of some people is astonishing. This exchange happened to me just the other day.

β€œHi, sorry, we don’t serve on the patio in the rain.”

β€œWe don’t mind sitting in the rain, we have an umbrella.”

β€œI don’t, I have to carry your food and drinks out to you.”

β€œWhy is that our problem?”

So desperate for a patio you want your server to run around in the rain for you? No thank you.

I can not, for the life of me, keep up with umbrellas.

That's it. That's the post.

I'm an avid user of public transit and rideshare apps because I, like many of you, can't fkn drive. So of course I run into a lot of situations where I need an umbrella...except I literally lose every umbrella I have in 3.5 seconds, whether it be on the bus, in my Uber, or even in my own house. It's like they sprout legs and run away. At this point, I've accepted my umbrella-less fate and just rawdog rainy days, like today...maybe one day I'll be functional enough to keep up with basic necessities, but today is not that day.

A comprehensive breakdown of every upcoming game under the PS studious umbrella.

Hey guys, in light of recent news and having a little bit more time on my hand this week I got bored and decided to put head to head all the information we have, from official sources like last night interview with Hulst confirming the official number of upcoming titles to rumours and job listings on Linkedin, to try and offer a list on everything that Sony first-party studios are working on, and also how many games they have in development at external studious. The list is gonna conceive two parts, the first part focusing just on internal PS Studios and the second one on external studious, so-called second-party deals. Also with Herman Hulst saying they are working on more than 25 games, instead of saying close to 30, I will awesome the number of total titles is 27. Sit Back and enjoy. Spoiler: pretty big list incoming.

Sony First Party Studios

  1. Santa Monica Studio - pretty straightforward, we know they are working on God of War, and based on some job listing they are also working on an unannounced title, some speculating it is a new Sci-fi IP which Cory wanted to make even back in 2013 but it was canned because of production problems. (1 new IP, 1 established IP)
  2. Guerrilla Games - we already know they are well deep into the sequel of Horizon as they recently showcased Forbidden West. There are also some rumours flying around, based on them hiring multiple persons who worked on Rainbox Six Siege, that they are working on a tactical shooter game, people are speculating either Killzone, of course, and SOCOM. (2 established IPs)
  3. Insomniac Games - not much to say, they are releasing R&C: Rift Apart next week, and more than likely they are deep in Spider-man 2 development. (2 games based on established IPs)
  4. Naughtydog - working hard on the multiplayer for TLOU II, Factions, judging by their hiring spree in the last few months and the amount of time it took them it's safe to bet that the scale of the project is considerable. We also know from the infamous Jason Schreier report that they are working on a TLOU I Remake. (so 2 games

Like a Renoir

Sat on the windowsill
Like a painting by one of the greats
Whose names I don't know--
I never cared about paintings--
But you spew color theory
Like a professor;
Talk about reds and blues; how they marry to new shades--
Colors I've only encountered
In back alleys
Or Sesame Street.

I write these lines in my head
Staring at you--
Chipped champagne flute lilting south
Head crooning east
Watching the beginnings of a sunrise--
You catch me
And joke again
Love, you are never in the moment
But I am
I am
And I'm soaking up
Every detail of it.
