hi! a friend i have is really hung up on certain things ra said about gay people and the struggles of being a gay spiritual seeker. i looked a bit around the internet and apparently a few other people on the ra forums have been hung up on it as well. i was wondering if any of you have gone through similar struggles and have insight, and especially if you're gay, how you've dealt with that. just this one thing makes his life pretty rough. as a disclaimer i know little to nothing about the ra materials and wouldn't say i believe much of it but i was wondering if you could say anything that might help him if i passed it along.
ps: said friend is worried about indirectly and directly reinforcing a stereotype of gays being annoying and needing so much appraisal by asking this question and apologizes in advance
Brief overview, Rob Swanson is my spirit animal. I’ve been nicknamed “Red” , see Red Forman, not because of looks thankfully, but because of my temperament with the general public, a large portion of my beard is dark red, and yes, I’m also a retired combat vet and a jack-of-all skilled tradesman.
Over the last five years or so, a mild, but very private curiosity, has turned into something much more. Especially over this past year. My attraction to everyone, except women. I’m still attracted to women, or at least their physical form, but not as much as I was. I’ve always been in a long term hetero relationships due to my previous lifestyle, and my...lineage, we’ll call it. I’ve found myself extremely attracted to certain types of men and trans women, and I’m pretty sure it’s evolved past just a sexual phase, or kink. I’d like to think that I’ve become open enough to be attracted to an individual based on personality, not just their bodies/genitalia, but it helps.
Now that I’m single again, after some deep reflection, I’ve come to grips with the fact that maybe I need to start barking up a different tree, or go to a whole different forest.
I have no idea where to start, what to expect, where to look, the terms, who to talk to, how to approach people, how to talk to certain people, red flags, etc. I’m literally starting at square one. So...help? Please?
I think traps are gay, since they are males masquerading as females to attract potentially straight males to read the bible with them while making them think that they are doing it with a female, which is called lying. But the real question is... Is it gay to like traps? Well yes, it isn't gay if a trap uses its supernatural skills to completely look like a female and admire that, but since you are acknowledging that what you are aroused by is a trap, means you are not complaining about getting a hands-on expert lecture on the male genitalia, if you don't realize its a trap then why are you arguing this?

My issue is self explanatory. I'm on desktop and whenever someone messages me, I see the red badge that pops up onto the icon and I hear the notification sound, but the preview banner that should swipe in from the side of the screen never appears anymore, and it's really annoying.
Anyone have any solutions? I'm *not* in Do Not Disturb mode, I tried turning streamer mode on and off again, I updated Discord, I've logged out and back in, and I tried restarting my computer with no luck.

So basically I am looking for what is the best batch for the Yeezy 2 Red October. I've seen PK batch for the Yeezy 2 and looks good, but wanted to know if there is any other better batch or better price in other website. I love the shoe but there is no way I am dropping that price tag on the original one (right now goes for around 10k on my size....).

Okay so since I don't have people I can talk to about gay-everything, I've started a nightly ritual of having a beer and reading/commenting within our sub to fill up my gay quota of the day.
And honestly, this was just lighthearted at first, but I'm gaining more appreciation for the gay community and more acceptance of my gayyyy ass self because of this sub.
I love you all so much, and sometimes reading the simplest stuff brings me to tears because it reaffirms that I deserve and am worthy of a happy lesbian future like all you lovely ladies!
