A list of puns related to "The Man (Aloe Blacc song)"
Ok this one is going to be a challenge but I'm actually at the end of my rope on this one. There's a commercial that I saw a bunch of times for a streaming service, pretty sure it was 2019 or after when it was airing, that featured a song sung by someone who I'm almost positive was Aloe Blacc (although totally possible it's just someone who sounded similar). The commercial played clips from a bunch of shows and movies on the service and the song played in the background. The only lyrics I can definitively remember are him saying the words 'keep watching' and something along the lines of 'there ain't no stopping me now' or 'there ain't no holding me back'. Very upbeat song, poppy but hype with a good beat and drums. I'd compare it to 'love me again' by John Newman maybe for a similar genre but not in terms of how the song sounds. I know this is the bare minimum to go on but I've been coming through Google for about 2 hours now, come through for me reddit.
I'd love to hear what what one you amazing people could do with these two songs. Thanks!

I know this is kindofa tenuous link, but every time those "Beatz" commercials come on, I think of Elton John's "Your Song" when I hear the "and you can tell everybody" line.
Hey. Do you think that Aloe is going to do a Avicii ft. Aloe Blacc E.P. with songs like "I don't feel good", "Please forgive me" and the other ones?
Because he said, if he can, he will release some of them on his "Instagram Avicii Tribute"
I was wondering, because his family isn't saying anything about Tims unreleased music.
I NEED YOUR HELP! This will be a group effort! ||||| Here's what I have so far! (This list will be edited, it may take awhile though) I would prefer we have a list HERE so that people can easily learn who is featured. It just seems like no website has a literal list of who is featured in his songs. If I can't edit the post, I will make a new one! Once the list is 100% completed, I will make a new post (Because of the title!) Also, I will need help with "The Singles".

With interviews with the likes of Sandro, David Guetta, Mike Posner. All talking about working with Tim. You can click on the twitch links from the stories too see the full videos. My personal favourite is the Mike Posner one. Still sad that βStay With Youβ was never released
Hello, everyone! Sorry for the little hiatus from this series. Today, as the first "Song of the Week" not only in the new year but also in the new decade, I figured it would be appropriate to choose the song "Verge", featuring Aloe Blacc. This was the lead single of probably Adam's most controversial album, Mobile Orchestra.
The song first came out in May 2015, which made me slightly disappointed because I graduated high school in June 2014. I felt it was a fitting graduation anthem, so I guess I was a little jealous of those who were a year behind me. However, I will say that when I graduated high school in 2014, the graduating class's choir students (and I was one of them) sang a medley combining Owl City's "When Can I See You Again?" with Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)", so I guess that was a plus for my HootOwl self.
But I digress. The song's instrumentation is slightly more guitar-driven then you might expect from an Owl City song, but it still has a hint of synthpop and even EDM in there. The main melodies are the guitar following the same Shooting Star opening melody as well as the infamous Wolf Bite melody.
Lyrically, Adam has stated that it's about a transition: The closing of one chapter and the beginning of another ("Edge of the earth, and we're touching the sky tonight / Out on the verge of the rest of our lives", "From now on, there's no looking back / Full steam ahead on this one-way track"), which is very fitting for the start of a new decade. While the music video and original single cover art focus on graduation ("These our hours / This is our time"), Adam says it could be about anything. It's also about life's defining moments ("I ain't too sure what I believe in / I believe in what I see / And when I close my eyes / I see my whole life in front of me") as well as staying true to who you are and doing the right thing ("For the rest of my life / I will do what's right").
I'll be the first to admit that it's not Adam's most creative song lyrically. It's pretty simple and even slightly repetitive. However, it's power shouldn't be understated, and I think that's in part due to Aloe Blacc's

Hey guys! We started a new subreddit for r/aloeblacc I thought some of yβall might be interested! Please feel free to come and join this community!
So, I can't remember the time period but I think it's from before year 2000, but it has the same sort of 'Yeah, Yeah, Yeah' as heard in the beginning and background of THIS song.
Which is about the only thing I can remember. I know it ain't much, but I hope you can help :)
Thanks!
Feel free to post on this subreddit your stories, experiences, and love for all things Aloe Blacc!
Hey everyone,
today I was shopping and heard a song in the radio that I've been searching for months. Exactly this time, I didn't have my phone with me so I couldn't use Shazam.
The song had some jazzy vibe to it, there was a piano and trumpets/trombones.
His voice kinda reminded me of Aloe Blacc, it was definitely a bright voice and the song was pretty happy overall and I think with romantic meaning.
The song doesn't seem too old, not more than 3/4 years I guess.
I know, this is all very vague but if someone could help me, I'd highly appreciate it!
