A list of puns related to "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret"
Hey FWOBHEADS in a recent Banjo episode, Dad talks about one of his favorite underrated shows. If you want to watch is available on Netflix until the 14th of July.
So, this 3-seasons long TV show (spanning only six 20-minute episodes a season) is .. well.. I enjoyed it a lot. That's why I'm writing this post, as I feel it's a bit unknown.
It's quite weird, it was on a small network I believe, but it is really worth watching.. if you are into that kind of stuff. It's somewhat silly (think Worst Week maybe?), yet offensive (David Cross?), has some foreshadowing, twists, repeating elements... no laugh track! The main character is "a looser", compulsive liar, and constantly makes bad choices decisions. Not sure what I would compare it to.
Give it a try. Opening scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYVytp38O_w
// It's vreated by David Cross, written by David Cross and Shaun Pye, starring David Cross, Will Arnett, and Blake Harrison. It didn't run all at once, first season is from 2010 and last one from 2015 (aired 2016).

It started, as many stories often do, with an aggressive neighbor.
Kupe was a playful ruler, he loved nature, and despite vast coal reserves discovered early he never used them and never sold them, intent on his ability to save the world. All was peaceful in his empire that consisted of a little horn and island in Antarctica, an island near the Galapagos on the same continent, a horn on Pangea Nova, and I large island on the same continent. He commanded the allegiance of 5 strategically placed city states, including Cardiff, Babylon, and Lisbon, which are key players in our story.
Nearby, he had forged strong alliances with Sweden, Canada and Persia dating back to the classical era, but his other two immediate neighbours were not as easy to impress. Gitarja, to the south, had no love for the peaceful Maori ruler, and Alexander to the east, who had already proven to be a bloodthirsty dictator having conquered Hong Kong and several Swedish cities were in league with one another.
Alexander deemed Babylon to be his right and moved to conquer the city, a feat he achieved, but which drew the ire of the peaceful giant. But Kupe was not one to fire the first shot. Instead he waited patiently for Alexander to strike at Cardiff, which he accomplished by declaring war on Kupe himself. Gitarja joined in and neither of the Maori leader's neighbours would survive that war. But it came at a cost.
Kupe was strong, possessing an advanced army and a powerful navy, but he left the Pangaea Nova island undefended. In a remarking show of tactical prowess, Alexander usurped the Maori suzureignty of Lisbon resulting in the loss of one of his cities, and Gitarja took Cardiff, turning former allies against him effectively cutting him off from a direct assault against Alexander.
But Kupe was every bit as clever and crafty as his opponents and used Persia's expansive tunnel complexes to outmaneuver Alexander, striking him from behind while a compliment of his expansive navy struck from the northern Macedonian coast. A brief campaign in Macedon resulted in the freedom of Babylon and the complete defeat of once mighty Alexander, all thanks to Maori gunpowder and tactics.
With Alexander out of the way, Lisbon returned to its rightful place under the umbrella of the Maori empire.
Surrounded by neighbors and feeling comfortable, Kupe left a small contingent to defend his newly acquired territories and sent a large portion of his military and navy south to conquer coastal empire o

A couple guys I know said to check into OSS Helix and the Silencerco Specwar based on price spectrums. But neither of them own either, so I take that with a grain of salt. Would like more to work with than some random Googling before I deal with salesmen.
Obviously cheaper is always nice but, if Iβm jumping in and waiting months for this, cost wonβt be a concern as long as itβs justifiable.
Appreciate it, fellas.

Honorable mentions
Trials is supposed to be the highest level endgame PvP activity, to test playersβ skill and mettle. However, the way Trials is right now, itβs more about who has time to light level grind and who doesnβt. Sure this was a thing in D1, but back then the power level differences were not so high. Another problem is the token system. It makes it totally useless to even progress through the card more than once, and gatekeeps other players. Trials is supposed to be hard. We get that. What it isnβt supposed to be though, is inaccessible. Players that arenβt the cream of the crop canβt even get three wins in this elitist system. Iβd like to hear your thoughts, where you agree and disagree, and what we think Bungie can do to fix this.

A large number of people are poor because of the decisions they make. If you are poor but you drink frequently, smoke, are an addict, dropped out of highschool, or couldn't be responsible enough to keep your pants zipped up and had a child, I don't feel like it's the government's responsibility to support you. A child should be taken away and taken care of because they can't take care of themselves. People who can't work due to injury, disability, or mental health, should be taken care of, but for every one else, sorry, but its the consequences of your actions. I understand that there are people who are poor by circumstance, those aren't the people I'm talking about. They should be helped and when they are somany of them come out of poverty. I'm talking about the poor people who complain about being poor, yet smoke 2 packs a day, drink a bottle of whiskey every day, refuse to educate themselves (free for low income people), have 6 kids, or pop a handful of oxys every few hours. For those people, I don't feel bad for them, they are the reason they are poor, and the government taking care of them only exacerbates the problem. Actions have consequences. If the consequence of your stupid decision leads to you starving to death on the streets, that's your fault and shouldn't be my, or anyone else's problem.

Whether is was bad writing/editing or they simply wanted to change how the books portrayed Jaime and Cersei having sex in front of Joffrey's body, it really is the worst thing they have done. It almost (or totally) ruins Jaime's character in the show. I still think of this when I really think about the character, on the show at least, and then try to remind myself it's not supposed to be how his character is.

EDIT 2: And I don't get why the dialogue changed. They could have taken directly from the book.
I think a lot of people have come to the conclusion that Dexit is more of a business decision more than anything, but letβs beat the dead horse (or the fainted Mudsdale) some more.
Dexit seems to be the thing on everyone's minds at the moment. There are many different aspects of the game that people are criticizing but to me, the most concerning is the Dex cut. The core of what makes Pokemon what it is are the actual Pokemon. That's why this decision is not being received well by many. So many of the spinoffs are popular because of the fact that it is a Pokemon game so it comes with all the Pokemon (I don't think there's a spinoff that didn't include all Pokemon up to that point, correct me if I'm wrong). The mechanics surrounding them didn't matter much as long as they were enjoyable, so when you remove some of the Pokemon then it loses a lot of the appeal. Sure, when you play through a mainline game, you're not going to encounter every Pokemon in the dex when you beat the elite four, but filling up the dex in the post-game and bringing over your collection from past titles is enjoyable for a lot of people. A lot of people don't complete the National Dex, but why even remove it? No point in doing so.
There are many possible reasons for why Dexit is a thing in the first place. The main 2 reasons that I have seen are technological and time restrictions. I can understand time restrictions a little, but technology restrictions cannot possibly be the reason.
The truth of the matter is that all the Pokemon (and many more) can fit in the 16 GB game cart when you do that math:
LGP/LGE Pokemon take up 831KB each for models and textures (let's round it up to 1 MB)
SS is currently 10.3 leaving 5.7 GB on the cart left (let's round it down to 5 GB)
5 GB / 1 MB = 5000 more Pokemon (Models, Textures) can fit on the SS game cart. There's a lot of other data that goes into defining a Pokemon such as Name, Stats, Moves, Evolutions, etc. but those are insignificant compared to the graphical data. That being said all of the Pokemon fit without question.
Another excuse I've seen is time restrictions which is much easier to believe. However, when porting over all the existing Pokemon there isn't much time that needs to be invested into it (I'm a Software Engineer, not a modeler/artist, so I'm not too well versed in this area but I read up about it here and there). All of the models are already "future-proofed" as stated by Gamefreak. All the Pokemon data (Names, M

The current event exchange page reads
"Event concludes in (...)"
On the same page, the "Event details" read "Acquire cornucopias from Praetorian stages, found within the Labyrinth and from Daily Quest chests. (...)"
Reading this, one would normally assume that we would be able to acquire cornucopias until event conclusion. But that is not the case.
There are two different deadlines, one for cornucopias dropping (june 28th 23:59 UTC) and another one for gifting and prize redemption (june 30th 23:59 UTC). However these two separate dates are not mentioned anywhere in the game. Even going as far as clicking on the (!) icon on the top left of the exchange page, it reads that the event "will last for a total of 10 days of which there will be 8 days where cornucopias may be acquired (...)" but does not inform players of exactly what are the dates, which in conjunction with the above could be interpreted as being able to get the cornucopias for the remainder of the time displayed in the exchange page, with another 2 day deadline for redemption after that.
In order to be fully clear about the deadlines, players would need to have a perfect recollection of the date the event started, and look for specific information either on forums such as this one, or via costumer support. Many (most?) players are not as well informed and they will go by the information immediately and easily available ingame, which leads them to believe they will be able to acquire cornucopias throughout the whole event, and as such may lead to poor decisions when it comes to spending the event currency.
The prior event had two very distinct deadlines which were displayed very clearly in the event page. That does not happen now (why, really??), and that further adds to the misinformation.
So as a result of all above, players are making poor decisions when it comes to redeeming the prizes. I antecipate various posts in 2 days time from players asking why cornucopias aren't dropping anymore.
In the last event the devs compensated players with aditional event currency and i don't even remember why that was. I hope they will be at least as sensible for this event aswell.
TL,DR: The info displayed in the event exchange page can easily lead players to believe they will be able to drop cornucopias for longer than they actually can, and as a result players may make poor - and misinformed - decisions when redeeming prizes.
