A list of puns related to "The Horror Show at Extreme Rules"
Kevin Owens wins by Stunner!
When Rey Mysterio revealed the match stipulation for his match against Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules: Horror Show, that look that Seth Rollins gave. That was almost, if not, the exact same look he had when he was confronted by The Fiend and showed he was a coward. I love this!
Words can't express the joy I had seeing this expression on Rollins' face. He knows he is screwed at Extreme Rules. He knows that his days having both eyes working flawlessly are numbered. He is soon going to only have one working eye and Rollins will have deserved it.
None of this would have happened if Rey and Kevin Owens didn't win on Raw. And if you really want to go deeper, this wouldn't be happening if Rollins didn't hurt Rey. It didn't need to go this path but it has to. I think any Rey fan will only be satisfied if Rey takes Seth's eye out. I never wish this for anyone but because he did this to Rey, I'm all for Rey doing it back to Seth.
The last time Rollins had the face of worry, scare, fear, it was when he was up against the Fiend. Once they were done with each other, Seth Rollins didn't leave the same person. The same will happen at Extreme Rules: Horror Show when Rollins doesn't leave the same person BECAUSE HE WILL ONLY HAVE ONE FUNCTIONING EYE!!!!
Well, after Smackdown it seems that we are more than likely heading to a gimmick filled night at Extreme Rules with more cinematic than regular matches.
After many years of people complaining that the "Extreme Rules" PPV is not extreme enough, WWE used the pandemic to create the most extreme PPV they've ever done.
So far here's the card for the Extreme Rules PPV:
Drew McIntyre vs Ziggler - WWE title match:
gimmick for the match is yet to be announced but it's been announced that this won't be a regular 1-on-1 match and Ziggler will choose the stipulation, probably on RAW
Braun Strowman vs Bray Wyatt
in a non-title Wyatt Swamp Fight
Rey Mysterio vs Seth Rollins
in an Eye-for-an-eye match
Jeff Hardy vs Sheamus
in a Bar Fight
This leaves only three matches (so far) which would be non-gimmicked (so far)
Asuka vs Sasha Banks for the RAW women's title
Apollo vs MVP for the US title
Bayley vs Nikki Cross for the Smackdown's women title
Do you think this was the right way to go so they can do something new? Do you think this is overkill? Is this something WWE must do in this era? Would it have been boring to have another regular show in the half-empty Performance Center? Are these cinematic matches reason plus to tune in? Did WWE did this because next month is SummerSlam which probably wouldn't have many cinematic matches? Does this add the factor of entertainemnt to Extreme Rules - a PPV which was attacked for being too normal/boring for its name? What cinematic match do you look forward to seeing? Do the gimmick matches add or take from your excitement for the event?
<<Undertakerβs return for this show is not something that just came up this week based on bad numbers, as it was planned before Super Showdown. >>
Thatβs just a snippet. Didnβt want to share the whole thing.
My body would be so ready if that were to happen. A guy can dream.
Even though Roman has been much more tolerable since Mania, the Chicago crowd never really got a chance to show him how they feel. Both guys will legitimately get boo'ed, and it won't help that this will probably be a ** match or less. Expect at least 2 of the 3 following chants: "Please Retire", "Boring", and "CM Punk".
