How much do you typically make in tips in a night? I am in college and looking for a flexible job that will pay well, would Texas Roadhouse be a good fit or would I be better off at somewhere else like Chilis or Outback Steakhouse? I currently work in retail but figured serving would be more fun and having cash daily would be nice. Any input is appreciated!

Texas Roadhouse is a steakhouse specializing in Texan and Southwestern style cuisine. Texas Roadhouse operates in 49 US states and 10 international countries. TXRH is based out of Kentucky and is well known for its complementary peanuts and bread.

These are numbers that make me look closer and prepare for a pullback. The returns don't seem good right now, but the cards seem to align for recovery once covid-round 4- ends. Just looking at revenue, ebitda and EPS, the trend upwards seems to be resuming after the quarantine. TXRH also has the benefit of low debt ratios. I will now use the 3 year dividend growth rate to project further.

The Texas Roadhouse Website and My Fitness Pal both say the Plain Baked Potato is 380 Calories, but that seems way high. Potatoes are generally 110 Calories per 150 grams. That means the Texas Roadhouse Potato is somehow 3.5 servings? Do they do something in the cooking process to make this more calories dense?

Texas Roadhouse Seasoned Rice
serves 4
Ingredients
2 cups rice
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 small onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup fresh parsley or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
4 cups chicken broth or stock
Instructions
Place the butter in a large skillet and melt over medium heat. Stir in the rice and sauté for about 5 minutes. Make sure to continuously stir.
Stir in the onions and cook another 2-3 minutes.
Add in the soy sauce, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne and parsley.
Pour in broth. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat and let the rice simmer for 12-15 minutes. You want the liquid to fully absorb.
Remove from heat and season with a little salt and pepper. Serve warm.
