A list of puns related to "Tennessee Board of Parole"
How long is the hiring process typically for Parole Agent 1 or Corrections Officer Trainee? Is there overtime available? Do you like it?
A long one sorry! So for a brief backstory, my JNM is not allowed at my house, I will not go to hers and she is not allowed access to my children without me present. We are low contact. She has a history of drug abuse and violent partners, but she holds things together really well, she is stunning and well presented and so lovely to people she meets that no one can believe she would ever do any wrong.
Also important to note I can't go 100% no contact due to a younger sibling.
This year I hosted Christmas dinner. It was casual and outside, the house was closed off so I thought why not invite her with some heavy boundaries. My house was off limits, no drinking, no one else is to come with her, drop her off or pick her up.
The time she was here was fine, as usual she was lovely with everyone around. The only problem was that she arrived over an hour late and I had to ask her multiple times to leave, after everyone else had left she kept stalling and trying to stay longer.
I should have known! But I thought I had gotten off lightly, that was until yesterday. I was in the shower and received a few missed calls from my JNM. The usual anxiety stirred and I had a feeling she was up to something. I decided to not respond straight away. What a bad move.
A few minutes later she knocks on my door which is right in front of my big front window that I'm standing in front of. She can see me and calls me and my son. I've seen this so many times on this thread and I always think "why don't they just not answer the door!" So now was my turn to take my own advice. I took my kids to my bedroom (no windows to the accessible property) and put some LOUD TV on while she continued to knock and yell "I can see you in there answer the door".
Once I had my kids settled, I texted her saying please don't come to my house uninvited again. You know you are not allowed here and that is a boundary I have set.
Her response was that I've sentenced her to a lifetime in prison without parole, and even mu*****rs don't get that long.
I wouldn't even know where to start responding to that one so I'm just going to leave it and silently thank her for the many lessons she has taught me, including this one for next years Christmas.
