A list of puns related to "Telnyashka"
question regarding the telnyashkas specifically in the 1990s. Which color did the MVD use?
So I've tried to unlock both the telnyashka and the Russian digital camp by syncshotting everything, but it doesn't complete. Is there something I'm overlooking or is it just broken or am I an idiot?
Iβm looking into putting together a basic Soviet-Afghan war kit for a standard infantryman, around mid-late 1980s for a airsoft Cold War event. Movies and other media kinda portray the Telnyashka as the standard Russian undershirt, but as far as I know, only certain troops, such as VDV, actually use them. Can anyone provide any info on if a regular infantryman would ever use one, and if not, what the proper undershirt is?
ΠΠ΄ΡΠ°Π²ΡΡΠ²ΡΠΉΡΠ΅! I was reading about the history of the Telnyashka, and was curious about what the different colors meant. Most of my questions were answered through a simple web search, however I wasn't able to find which color is used by the special forces troopers. I've been looking to get one to wear in winter time (was thinking the black colored), and on one of the websites I saw them listed, it had the red striped listed as ΡΠΏΠ΅ΡΠ½Π°Π· but according to what I've researched, red and maroon aren't listed as being used by them.
Apologies if this is a very strange question! I just find them cute, and thought if I'm gonna get one I might as well learn about the history of them! Π‘ΠΏΠ°ΡΠΈΠ±ΠΎ!
I bought one off amazon just because I thought it looked cool and got weird looks at the gym. Just more or less making sure itβs not some obscure communist symbol or something. More curiosity than anything.
Hi Everyone,
Where is the best place to order Telnyashkas? I have ordered some from various places and found the quality of them varies widely.
For the unfamiliar, the "telnyashka" is an iconic piece of Russian clothing (on par with the "ushanka"). It comes in a variety of sleeve lengths and colours (used to denote the service branch of the wearer)
More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telnyashka
Now obviously the colours are less than subtle, but it should work, if it's under a jacket, with an open collar or something, as seen here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telnyashka#/media/File:Victory_Day_Parade_2008-9.jpg
Thoughts?
Edit: Added a demonstrative picture.
I'm 5'10" 125lbs might get a small. Was considering XXS because I'm a 33.5" chest, but I'm tall.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows if only the Spetsnaz of the MVD are wearing the maroon beret and red telnyashka or if soldiers of all the spetsnaz groups can earn it.

So, these come in long sleeved or tank top length of various thickness. I think these would be important to have now that we have exposure system. And these would look sexy on a sunny day when you take off your ttsko or gorka jacket while oper8ing in the deep forests of the west.
It could be equippable as a t-shirt or as a replacement for the standard white undershirt your character has under his clothes.
Besides, you can see a bit of it under ttsko jacket.

(can't post it as Link, don't know why)
They seem like theyd make a good fall/winter shirt for the colder weather

From where should I buy? Right now I'm trying to decide between these two:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/new-t-shirt-telnyashka-Russian-Navy-striped-vest-100-cotton-vest-/141548067460
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TELNYASHKA-TANK-GOST-all-size-Blue-VDV-Russian-USSR-Military-Army-T-SHIRT-/321757508864
So I bought a Telnyashka for my Halloween costume as a squatting slav, but after wearing it I love it! The only thing I wear it with right now is my eddie bauer denim shirt
Can you guys think of anything else it would go well with?
Something else to keep in mind is that I work at Eddie Bauer and I get 50% off everything as an employee. So I'd love to possibly save some money if I could.
Thanks!
