A list of puns related to "Ted Kaczynski"

In a typical faschion for the sub, the comments are a parade of transphobia and hatred against Elliot Page for no real reason besides him being a trans man:
Productions pandering to trans folks don't generate all that much revenue
[According to this article (Dec 1, 2020) there are no plans to recast Vayna in Umbrella Academy and no plans to change the gender of the character to male. So Elliot Page will be playing the same female character. According to that article the queer community pushed back on the recasting of the role because they say transgender people can play both queer and CIS roles. Looking forward to the hilarious shitstorm on Twitter when people are pissed off that she's still playing a female character on the show next season. People are going to be mad that she's playing a female character after she transitioned but they also don't want the role recasted to get a female actor. Choose one. Can't have both.](https://archive.ph/i5Jn5)
The comment about Ted Kaczynski:

what do you think
I'm going to try and get two books by Kaczynski published, one solely written by him and another co-written by him. So, I'm looking for volunteers to help, if you like the idea and have time to help, please let me know :)
.
Ted Kaczynski finished writing a book in 1999 critiquing all the media representations of his life called βTruth versus Liesβ:
"During the media frenzy that came to be known as 'Club Ted,' a report surfaced that the accused Unabomber was writing a second manifesto. He was in fact at work on this compelling book that deftly treads the line between eloquent memoir and uncompromising defense. This intriguing artifact is Ted Kaczynski's attempt to tell the other side of the tale spun by his family, who told the world he was insane to save him from the death penalty. It is also an outspoken rebuttal of the lies told by the many-media-charmed acquaintances and opportunistic strangers who surfaced to offer their stories in exchange for fifteen minutes of fame."
Many publishers turned him down, Context Books almost printed a slightly edited version, but Ted rejected this proposal. I think the publisher was worried about copyright e.g. quoting some sources in their entirety and libel e.g. Ted calling his brother, David, βa Judas Iscariot (who) ... doesnβt even have enough courage to go hang himself.β
In 2002 he donated a draft copy of the book which Context Books made to the University of Michigan along with a tonne of journals, letters and other material which the book references.
So, I copied the text into a google document and started working on cleaning up the scanning errors with 3 other people:
We've almost finished this now, so soon we can put it up on the anarchist library and places.
Next, we want to decide together on a few changes we'd like to suggest to Kaczynski, which will give the book a higher chance of getting a book publisher to mass print it, without risking libel and copyright. Ideally we could just black out the parts we canβt print, and then write an article on the missing parts and where to find the unedited version:
Finally, weβll

> The next day I started for my home cabin. My route took me past a beautiful spot, a favorite place of mine where there was a spring of pure water that could safely be drunk without boiling. I stopped and said a kind of prayer to the spirit of the spring. It was a prayer in which I swore that I would take revenge for what was being done to the forest.
Ty for any answers
I heckin' love Ted Kaczynski!!! He's so πquirkyπ€ͺ like me and my epic internet friendorinos!!!! When I first read about him on Twitter I was like "Oh, helloooooo!!!" and instantly started spending twice as much time a day on the internet so I could read about him and his whacky misadventures! It took me like ten minutes of Googling him and like 5 minutes of reading online before I was like "Wait a minute... HE'S THE PERSON BEHIND ALL THOSE BOMBINGS "F@$k It! No B!$%!!!!" So I made a new Tumblr blog (I have like 13 now) for his sake!!
I love reading about him, he has such a unique, quirky, crazy, and fun personality that makes me want to spend as much time with him as I can! So I will do my best to keep up with him every day!! Here are some more quotes from his manifesto that I really liked:
"The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in βadvancedβ countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in βadvancedβ countries."
"When someone interprets as derogatory almost anything that is said about him (or about groups with whom he identifies) we conclude that he has inferiority feelings or low self-esteem. This tendency is pronounced among minority rights activists, whether or not they belong to the minority groups whose rights they defend. They are hypersensitive about the words used to designate minorities and about anything that is said concerning minorities. The terms βnegro,β βoriental,β βhandicappedβ or βchickβ for an African, an Asian, a disabled person or a woman originally had no derogatory connotation. βBroadβ and βchickβ were merely the feminine equivalents of βguy,β βdudeβ or βfellow.β The negative connotations have been attached to these terms by the activists themselves. Some animal rights activists have gone so far as to reject the word βpetβ and insist on its replacement by βanimal companion.β Lefti

Has anyone here been inspired by him and if so did selfsuffiency live up to your expectations in improving your mentality?
The Manifesto, Industrial Society and its Future, has been criticized as βunoriginal,β but this misses the point. The Manifesto was never intended to be original. Its purpose was to set forth certain points about modern technology in clear and relatively brief form, so that those points could be read and understood by people who would never work their way through a difficult text such as Jacques Ellulβs Technological Society.
The accusation of unoriginality is in any case irrelevant. Is it important for the future of the world to know whether Ted Kaczynski is original or unoriginal? Obviously not! But it is indeed important for the future of the world to know whether modern technology has us on the road to disaster, whether anything short of revolution can avert that disaster, and whether the political left is an obstacle to revolution. So why have critics, for the most part, ignored the substance of the arguments raised in the Manifesto and wasted words on matters of negligible importance, such as the authorβs putative lack of originality and the defects of his style? Clearly, the critics canβt answer the substance of the Manifestoβs reasoning, so they try to divert their own and othersβ attention from its arguments by attacking irrelevant aspects of the Manifesto.
Excerpt taken from Technological Slavery (2008)
I was like, ok, seems a little much that people celebrate him here but fair. Maybe the media exaggerated how evil he was or something.
Iβve read Technological Slavery and I think Kaczynskiβs critiques of industrial society are well thought out. However when he implies destroying technology will save the human race I have a problem. In 4 billion years the sun will die. It is very likely before that there will be some sort of extinction event whether it be a plague, meteor, volcanic eruption, etc. If we do ever decide to return to a primitive state we will not have any technology to prevent these scenarios.
