Tally counter Puns

So I am making a sheet where I want to count the amount of times ive traveled to a location in a game and was wondering if there was a better way to count/tally things in google sheets. My current method is to just have a long list and then have them counted at the top. I would want to be able to just enter the sheet click once on a box or something and have the number go up rather than finding the bottom and typing.

I started this to manage my own negative thinking, but I found it helped for this sexual addiction as well.

Basically, anytime I catch myself thinking of sexual things, I take out my clicker and tally it. Once I click that button I remind myself where I'm at and where I'd like to be. The actual clicker is like a physical manifestation of my own progress.

The point is to document my mental behavior. To keep myself as an observer and not a participant of my own thoughts.

Maybe it's the actual physical act of holding this clicker in my hand and pressing the button that allows me to regain perspective. Maybe it's the weight of it in my pocket, but it's helped me and I think it'll help you guys as well.

I know you could just as easily just tally it on your phone, but I think having a tool that just performs one task helps a lot with clarity of mind.

Usually I commit to a 50 or 100 RCs per day and use a stopwatch, pressing roughly for a second, but naturally it is far from convenient. I struggled and couldn't find any watch with a silent tally counter. The ones for golf look crazy and make noise. Electronic ones are better but I would prefer it to be integrated with some good watch better waterproof one. Thoughts?

anyone know if you can get tally counter pre plantera? I've been farming for ages and have got two bone wands which are apparently 2x rarer. Is this just bad luck?

So I would like to have an arduino and a shield with a numberpad, and it would log what time I clicked which button(s), and then export when they were clicked to specific cells in an excel spreadsheet, with each entry being added to a new row below. I assume I would need a wifi and Bluetooth shield, or would I just need Bluetooth and nearby connection to a phone? I would like it to store memory of the clicks as well for when it is disconnected, so it syncs the data when it is reconnected. Any suggestions, parts/libraries lists, or alternative ideas let me know. Thanks

I have a cheap tally counter that I've been using for some years now and it stopped tallying/resetting easily, I imagine I could probably service it and get it working again but I figured maybe I'll check here for a high-quality tally counter if anyone has any recommendations.

I am working on creating an automated tracking system in excel tied to an approval flow through power automate.

Goals:

1. Auto-populate Version ID in this form "Dept. Code-Date(MMYYYY)-Site Total for 30 days"
   1. Labeled as "A" in visuals
2. Have a sheet with a running list Of submission date, location, and total submission for that LOCATION as of the time it was submitted.
   1. Labeled as "B" in visuals

Background:

I have a power automate flow that is triggered by a new MS Form submission. The information is pulled from that form and populated in an excel workbook on the "Master" sheet. The Flow also has a switch that updates the row with the department code based on the location and the type of request. (Location "B" has 2 different department codes based on the area of operation)

It also populates a new line on a Site Submission Tracker (SST) sheet in the same workbook

Where I need help:

• I need a number to populate in column "C" of SST as the total number of submissions for the site over the last 30 days as a ~freeze frame~ of the time of the submission.
  • I'm thinking along the lines of "If X<=L (within 30-day parameter) and Y=M, then total in B in format '000'"
• I need to take all of that information then to auto-label the "Version ID" of the Master sheet depending on that data in the specific format of 'Dept. Code-MMYYYY-Submission Total'
  • I'm thinking along the lines of " A = Z-X-'B if L=X and M=Y"
