Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking sheet.
In a mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients together (including powdered or granulated sweetener, if using) and sift to an even consistency.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and add pumpkin, apple cider vinegar, vanilla extract, and liquid sweetener/maple syrup flavoring (if using). Pour this liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Add the boiling water. Mix everything well. Let the dough become thick. Splash your hands with water before using them to separate the dough into 6 equal chunks. Roll into balls and place on the greased baking sheet. Feel free to flatten the balls slightly with your hands if you want less spherical rolls.
Bake for 75 minutes. Let cool a bit before slicing them open. I highly recommend slicing them, toasting them insides-up in a toaster oven, and slathering with buttery spread before enjoying.
Makes 6 rolls.

Hello Everyone,
I am sharing my official food list of 2021, this list is my ranking of some of my favourite places up to the year's end (it also includes places I tried in 2019 and 2020). It is organized alphabetically by category and each restaurant is ranked from 1. being the highest recommended. This is significantly shorter than my other list where I rank all the restaurants I have tried, I reduced the places I didn't like and tried to cut back a bit. Please let me know what your thoughts are (either on the list itself or the restaurants and food), and share with me recomendations and feedback. For 2022 I want to try more cafes, cakes, biryanis, and everything else lol, I also have a mybook, urban point, and entertainer subscriptions for 2022 so woudn't mind some recommendations for places that take those vouchers either.
Edit: Found the old food list I posted and wow crazy how much things have changed lol
Edit 2: Forgot to add some places

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
If I had to pick one topic in the I/P conflict that I'm obsessed with, it's the Israeli cuisine, and the heated opposition to it from the Arab world. It's not very hard to find examples of what I'm talking about. From frequent discussions on Palestinian subreddits, to op-eds in The Washington Post, public Twitter-storms, like the one after Rachel Ray dared to call various Arab foods "Israeli food", that James Zogby described as a "cultural genocide". Even borderline-international incidents, like the infamous Hummus War between Israel and Lebanon. Hell, look up literally anything that mentions Israeli food online, and go to the comment section. You'll see at least one comment, getting incredibly upset over the use of that term.
This by itself isn't particularly interesting in the context of the I/P conflict. What's interesting is, that unlike most other issues in the conflict, the Arab position is driven not by legitimate ideological differences with the Israeli position, but by a misunderstanding of that position. How the Israelis view the "Israeli cuisine", what that cuisine contains, and what they claim about it.
It seems that the moment someone does understand the issue, he has a far greater trouble expressing the problem he has with Israeli cuisine, and what Israelis should or shouldn't do about it. Even Reem Kassis, the author of the aforementioned Washington Post op-ed, and the most nationalist cookbook I've read, sounds far more nuanced in the Zoom roundtable on the same topic, just a few months later. She's far more willing to accept the idea of an Israeli cuisine, calls the Israeli adoption of hummus and falafel is now in the legitimate realm of "cultural diffusion", and the main the she wants is "credit", and for Israelis to start using the phrase "Palestinian cuisine". This, mind you, is from a woman that wrote th
... keep reading on reddit β‘Last night I dreamt I binged on Native American fry bread dipped in tahini (???) which Iβve never even tasted lol. Iβve also had nightmares about eating a snickers bar and another about drinking reduced fat milk. Not even in my dreams can I drink whole milk! The weirdest one was Hawaiian pizza covered in fruit roll ups.
Iβm on medication that makes my dreams incredibly vivid, so I can taste things in my dreams and last night I experienced the feeling of fullness! It totally curbed my binge cravings.
Iβm in a restrictive cycle rn so I dream about food a lot bc I miss it. Iβm also an addict but I have food* dreams WAYY more often than drug dreams. My brain wack
Do your worst!
Before I signed up, I was most curious about the food coaching and healthy eating component as exercising and medication seemed very straight forward.
I thought I would share a suggested grocery list / what to stock up on throughout the program for those who are considering joining.
Itβs always going to be personal but would love to hear what foods worked best, or worst, for fellow Calibrate participants.
About me: Iβm on week 3 at .25 of Wegovy. Significantly reduced appetite with mild nausea. Beyond feeling full with 1/4 the portions than I use to eat, Iβve been able to handle most groceries listed below but have avoided starches for the most part. My go-itβs: avocado, arugula with chicken breast, Calibrateβs suggested protein smoothies, hard-boiled eggs, salmon and roasted chick peas for snack.
Calibrate Shopping List
This list is to help fill your pantry with good foods youβll want to eat. Options are categorized by type. To make things doubly easy, weβve included some product suggestions, too. We canβt stress enough that the links weβve shared are just a few among many great options to choose from. It all comes down to whatβs most appealing to you.
Also, no matter what youβre buying or where youβre shopping, itβs always best to shop on a full stomach at a time of day when youβre feeling relatively calm (hunger and stress are willpower-busters). If youβre at the store, spend as much time as possible in the far side aisles, which is where the healthiest foods are most often found. And above all, stick to your list like itβs your job!

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
