A list of puns related to "Surgical treatment of ingrown toenails"
I get them like it is my job. I have had three surgeries now, and it seems having two surgeries on one side of one nail is the only way to fix the problem (effectively taking off 25% of my toenail from the outside in). I am trying not to get to the point where I have a narrow stump in the middle of my nail.
Cutting them out, soaking, packing the space... it all does nothing. They always come back unless I get the surgery.
If you scroll down, this is the procedure I undergo as a last resort http://www.aafp.org/afp/2002/0615/p2547.html
I am trying to avoid having to keep undergo that anymore. Anyone else have the issue with some success stories to share?
Ingrown(cantengan) itu di mana ya biasanya untuk treatmentnya? Apakah ter-cover BPJS juga? Komodos di sini ada yang pernah di-treatment cantengannya dan kayak gimana treatmentnya?
Hi folks,
I've got an ingrown toenail for the first time in my life and I have no idea what to do. Usually I check this sub for advice on doctors but don't think this has been asked before.
I had pain since last week, tried to manage it myself with normal creams but when the pain became too much I saw an Aster GP who said I need to get surgery and to speak to an orthopedic surgeon for more details.
The doctor put me on a strong course of antibiotics and I'm trying to manage it myself but wanted to ask if any of you have ever dealt with this before? Are there any tips or products that helped you? Most products for this problem seem to be in Amazon USA and not in UAE.
Do you have any recommendations for doctors who can help with this and any indication of how much a surgery would cost?
Would love to hear your advice please
Have a great evening
Iβm not sure if what Iβm seeing is puss but it has a constant throbbing pain and itβs hard to put pressure on it while I walk. Is this an infection and should I call my doctor?
I have been soaking it twice a day in epsom salt as recommended by the doctor and itβs the only thing that mildly relieves the pain besides NSAIDs.
Iβm very busy and Iβm not able to schedule a time with a doctor, that and I donβt Wanna do a surgery because all the hassle. If you are wondering what I mean by βpermanentβ, basically I wanna be able to get rid of it so that the next it comes back might be because I accidentally clipped my toenail to short or something. As Iβm getting rid of this one forever, not making me invulnerable from getting them
I am 21F, I have an ingrown toenail on my right big toe, I feel a lot of pain and it swells. I already soaked my feet in warm water for about 15mins, what should I do about it to relieve pain? What treatments should I buy?
I have ingrown toenails on both feet (Big toes) but I am mainly having problems with one. I do not have health insurance right now, I was wondering where the best, but cheap, place to get this fixed would be. I currently live between Toledo and Cleveland Ohio, but prefer a place between those cities and not in those cities if possible. I also would like a price range for one toe of a moderate case. (Pain in side of toe with slight skin lift from the nail, but no swelling it pus).
Hey guys.
So due messing up my cuticles, I now have an ingrown nail on my left big toe. I would treat it myself, but the spur is too deep in and I can't reach it. I've been treating it with disinfectant and epsom salt soaks.
So my question is if anyone knows where I can get an Ingrown Toenail treated. I know some of the international hospitals do it, but they're a bit pricy, especially for something like this.
Thanks!
Hello I just want to know if I can get a separate treatment. My doctor tells me I can only get the permanent treatment because my nail is so curved that I would just get an ingrown toenail again. Do I have to get a permanent treatment or can I go with a normal one
