A list of puns related to "Sung Kang"
I've been watching Tiger Belly since the early days, but I don't recall Bobby ever talked about Sung Kang. Considering their MadTV history, I wonder if this is something I've missed or Bobby has really never talked about Sung Kang.
So I met Sung in the hotel lobby. He was the absolute coolest and it felt like he was Han from the movies. Really polite and awesome individual and so glad I had the chance to say hello and that I was a big fan.
What an amazing day!
>A special spin-off of House on Wheels, featuring the cast of the upcoming film βThe Pirates: Goblin Flag". Wholesome banter with a really charismatic and fun cast. Recommended for people who are fans of any of the cast, really. Subbed by me because VIU ran into licensing issues after E01.

Would people be interested in me going back and doing E01?
I know itβs a little out-of-left-field, but I really Thing Sung could be a great Johnny, and an excellent addition to the mcu in general. He manages to be the coolest guy in the room in the FF franchise, and carries a steve McQueen like charisma that would serve the Ghost Rider well. What do you think? Do you have any outside the box MCU castings?

I'm not a huge FF fan, but I thought this was a good interview. I highly suggest that you watch until the end. He tells a personal story worth hearing.

Really well written piece on the Ringer.
Chronicles how Justin Lin saw how asians were always negatively stereotyped as villains in the original Fast&Furious movies, did Tokyo Drift and brought Sung Kang and Jason Tobin with him. Covers Sung Kang talking about how Hollywood never even got the concept of a cool asian dude like Han, they couldn't even visualize it, but his character became huge with Lin's persistence.
Covers how F-ck'd up it was, after Lin left to do other things, Hollywood then made F8 where Jason Statham somehow flips from villain to friend (slap in the face to Han, killed by Statham), and how Justin Lin came back to do F9 in part to 'right a wrong'.
The Fast and Furious series, movies going back and forth between positive asian american images and the same rakkkist crap, is kind of a metaphor for the back and forth between the rakkkism ingrained all over Hollywood and the 1 dude Justin Lin caring about asian american storylines, images, etc. Let's also not forget he also always brings an awesome movie soundtrack and gives really talented diverse music groups a huge opportunity.
