A list of puns related to "Suffix tree"
Question to you all. What would be the preferred suffix to keep on +3 sorcerer skill amulets? Or are they not worth keeping over the +2 rare version variety? Would like to know if I should be holding onto them, or just tossing to alternate characters. Thank you all for your time, happy hunting.
Hello,
I'm new to competitive programming. I want to know how to efficiently implement a suffix tree - linear time, linear space. The problem I am trying to solve requires building a suffix tree of a given string. I have written the O(n^2) space one but cant get my head around the linear one. Could you please give me a link to a good and short implementation.
Thank you in advance.
I implemented a suffix tree using classes. There is a class object SuffixTree that has methods for initiating and building the tree and checking if it has a given suffix or a substring. Within the class is subclass Node object that has a name/label and a dict of its outgoing edges to other child node objects.
I would like to quickly access all nodes for analysis. My current idea is giving the suffix tree a attribute that is a dict {Node #: Node object} and rewrite each Node's dict to instead point to a node# in the dict. Is there a better way of doing this, because currently my Node objects reside in other Node Objects.
I am stuck if we can find out the LCS using suffix tree?
Inspired by this lecture in which the topic of producing a barcode library for identification of virus sequences is discussed, i would like to try my hand at something similar with 16s rrna. I looked up the guys paper about it and it was very scarce on the implementation details.
Before i embark on making everything from scratch, dealing with mathematics im not quite sure i understand i wanted to hear if any of you know of an opensource tool that could be of help here.
Does anyone know of any good books on advanced data structures? I'm thinking stuff like X/Y-fast tries, range minimum queries and so on. I've scoured this sub and StackOverflow but haven't been able to find any good books on the subject.
Any suggestions much appreciated!
Hey guys, here's a pretty min/maxed version of strength stacking cyclone occultist. We're sitting around ~50m total DPS, 8300 life, 78 (or 79) all res, chaos res capped, max block on attack, determination and molten shell. Also ailment immune using purity of elements and some great leech/fortify. Like I said, the build is quite min/maxed, so not budget, but very fun to play, insane aoe clear and really good single target/defenses. Here's the PoB and Video!

Thanks for checking it out and let me know if you guys have any questions or want to see anything!
I found a 2/20fcr orb some time ago which made me wonder if its possible to get a rare orb that can compete with the quite solid choices from the uniques.
Then not much later this one dropped.

I'll be keeping this list up-to-date with all of the commonly requested changes that make sense as well as removing things as they get integrated or become irrelevant. Here's the list:

Strike skill modernization
Improved resonator socketing

Wind Ward - addition 1
>Now also grants 3% Chance to Dodge Spell Hits per Gale Force
Wind Ward - addition 2
>Spell Hits that are Suppressed no longer cause you to lose Gale Force
>
>+5 to maximum Gale Force
Wind Ward was introduced in patch 3.13 and at the time it already was a very niche defensive layer. However, with the introduction of Spell Suppression and the phasing out of Spell Dodge, this passive barely functions at all in today's game where spell hits are very common. Evasion alone doesn't give enough uptime on Gale Force and Spell Block is just not something that's readily available for bow wielding Deadeyes. These two options buff Wind Ward to be more reliable and to strengthen the fantasy of the Deadeye.
Discussion: With the current iteration of Spell Suppression, addition 2 cannot enter the game as many bosses only deal spell damage resulting in a permanent uptime of Wind Ward with 100% Spell Suppression. Were Spell Suppression to be capped like resistances, this would be less of a problem. Addition 1, has the problem that this source of Spell Dodge stacks with other sources of Spell Suppression. Following Acrobatics, they're supposed to be exclusive. However, since this is a Deadeye, I don't know if this problem is that big of a deal. Deadeye has a hard time juggling clear, single target and defences. If they choose to invest into defence, I don't think it breaks the game.
Master Alchemist - rework
>Elemental Flasks now also grant 50% Chance to Avoid Ailments corresponding to the Flask's Element
>
>Non-Elemental Flasks applied to you now have 20% increased effect
Pathfinder was granted Ailment Immunity because it allowed them to more freely use the interesting Flask suffixes that other Ascendancies were forced to use for Ailment mitigation. However, in patch 3.15 Flasks were overhauled to be more interesting for all Ascendancies and to give them more meaningful choices as well. Master Alchemist no longer needed to grant Ailment Immunity and was reworked, but this change had not strengthened Pathfinder's fantasy of having interesting choices and gaining power from Flasks. This rework seeks to give power to specific Flasks and as such allow players to make these interesting choices.
Discussion: none yet.
Heartstopper - rework 1

Not my cleanest kill. Got a little paranoid during figget spinner phase and decided to play it safe and port away. I tend to get my self killed by using dive right into the void beams
What is this build?
Well at its core its a frostbite build using the Snowdrift boots to boost frostbite effect with freeze rate multi.
Why Swarmform?
Swarmform has 2 major advantages here. First off behind the cold conversion node there is up to 30% freeze rate per attunement (I'm currently sitting at 82 attunement for almost 2500% freeze rate just from that). Transformed I'm sitting at 3500% freeze rate. but my record was breaking 5000% if I tunnel vision freeze rate/attunement and ignore everything else. The freeze rate snap shots attunement values so there are a few tricks I could do to potential break into 6k% if I wanted to abuse it but I choose not too.
The second advantage is that cold converting turns poison chance into frostbite for all skills (not just the swarmform skills)
(I'm hoping this isnt considered a bug because the storm orbs from tornado are the big dmg from this build and if poison chance doesnt get converted then I have to overhaul the whole build)
Im bored, where the build link im not reading that wall of text?
Here you go, more details below if you want to keep reading https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/mQkYbk1o
Skill choices/passives:
Swarm form
The biggest thing is Frost Bites node for cold converting and the 5 points behind it Chitin Sleet Form for freeze rate per attunement. After that going for Windfury Stikes to proc tornados is where most of the dmg comes from. The last few points I dump into Water Strider for maelstrom casts on dive.I have a +3 swarmform chest so with the extra points i decided to take the node to convert dodge chance into armor
Serpent Strike
The biggest dmg comes from Chrono Strike, giving 50% global increased damage over time for 4 sec, which stacks (with my attack speed this gives me up to 800% if I face tank for 4 secs). On the way to those nodes Venemous Intent makes it so we shoot a poison dart, errr I mean frostbite dart, and the downside of 35% less poison duration means nothing to this build.
With the rest of your points the 18% instant kill from Culling Point is solid and then grab attack speed everywhere you can.
If you were wanting to be more defensive Primal Refle
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello and welcome back, this is an update to my guide from 0.8.3 (https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/0-8-3d-gotta-freeze-em-all-250-corruption-cold-sorcerer/44256) which got buffed a lot by the introduction of the Snowdrift unique boots and legendaries.
THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS A STARTER BUILD AS IT REQUIRES RARE UNIQUES TO WORK PROPERLY - I have not tested its viability for leveling or playing while obtaining all uniques. You probably should have at least Frostbite Shackles and Twisted Heart before starting this build.
I currently run this build at around 500 -- 550 corruption killing most stuff easily. T4 Julra can be done easily with decent timing and good positioning in below 60s (two aoe explosions). This is with decent but far from optimized gear and two legendaries where one has only movement speed and the other 30% cold resistance.
Due to its cold nature this build quite differs from other common sorcerer builds as they rarely focus on cold. We use some less common skills as well as unusual specs for some others like teleport and flame ward. Furthermore I refuse to use FOCUS and thus this builds needs a decent amount of mana regeneration to work properly!
Since freeze chance is independent of hit damage the most important thing in a freeze build obviously is a high hit/attack rate. A high hit rate in addition goes well with ailments and in combination with freeze and cold frostbite is obviously our first choice as it also reduces enemies freeze avoidance chance. With the focus on hit rate and ailments the build goes a non-crit route and focuses mainly on cold/elemental damage (over time) alongside frostbite duration/effect/application to boost its damage further.
We will use an orbiting Static Orb and Ice Barrage as our main damage spells. Both provide a high hit rate and built-in frostbite application. While Static Orb is essential for smooth echoes, Ice Barrage enables fast killing of rares and bosses and pushes the amount of applied frostbite stacks heavily to increase our freeze chance.
Basic idea is to abuse the scourge corruption mechanic which gives 2% MORE quant and rarity per stack, in combination with juicing maps and beyond from the map device we will be able to reach 300 stacks in every map and get insane amounts of loot including The Nurse Card which you need 64 of to obtain a Headhunter.
Edit: I'm not claiming reinvent the wheel here, some people have been pointing out that this is just a regular MF strat and no big news and that's of course true. I just felt that a lot of people are under the impression that this kind of stuff is only doable in a tradeleague were you can just buy all the insane mf items from the get go. This league you can actually pull this of quite easy in SSF, mainly because the Scourge mechanic gives you such a big boost on quant and rarity so you don't need crazy gear to get started, and that's the point of this guide.
Originally, this was just meant for some of my guildmates but I figured there is no real reason to not share this on here. I wrote this in under 30 min and probably won't be able to answer most of the questions in the comments... for a more details on how this actually looks ingame you should check out manni2's stream on twitch, he is doing this very successfully on Scourge SSF.
Even if you are not going for a Headhunter this can still be very good to get some Build enabling uniques, I've been doing this for 2 days now with just rarity gear (no quant) and have found for example 2 MjΓΆlnirs, 5 Cold Iron Points, 2 Shavs, 15+ Tabulas and 13 The Nurse Cards. (just to give you an Idea of what you get from this).
Setup before the farm starts
-complete all maps + awakening objectives in Valdo's Rest to obtain all 3 favorite map slots
-get Awakening Bonus of at least 80 on your atlas, the more the better. (more awakening level=more pack size=more corruption)
-obtain 4 Valdo's Rest Watchstones (kind doesn't matter) and roll either rarity, quantity, pack size or effect of modifiers on non-unique maps on them. When starting out, rarity of items found should be the best mod, you should be able to get at least t2 but don't waste all your alts.
-Unlock at least 2 points for the uncharted realms tree, 4 are better but not required. First passive you will get is Enduring Influence and second one is Secret of the Stones. Easiest to complete are The Formed, The Hidden or The Twisted
-You should have a fair amount of Vaal orbs, Chaos orbs, Simple Sextants and Chisels before starting alth

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
What do you think is the best flask combo with Mageblood?
So with 105% flask effect and permanent uptime I was thinking:
Ruby + Topaz + Safire flasks with 40% all res, 60% reduced curse effect and 29% reduced mana cost:
Then one free slot for 110% movement speed when mapping with a quicksilver and 41% more armor/eva and 123% increased armor/eva for bossing or a damage flask.
Permanent immunity to one element ailment is now also available.
New and improved over the Title! 5.0mil sDPS and solid enough DEF for a League starter. No checkbox abuse, no BS.
The only expensive item is Dying Sun which any somewhat experienced player should be able to get within 3-4 days, Without its still a considerable ~3 mil sDPS on absolutely budget gear, more than enough to smash the early-mid game.
Secondly, we use the frenzy gem in between repositioning for important bosses. This is 100% reasonable and provides us with as much damage as a good chaos cluster. Feel free to drop frenzy and the nodes for a cluster when you can afford it. Or simply ignore it for 3.8 mil sDPS if you cant abide.
GGG has killed 100% uptime perma-autoflasking before it ever hit the game. It is still possible with more investment/using suffix's that reduce charge cost on magic flasks. To achieve ensure you have 50% increased charge generation minimum, and as much duration/lowered charge cost on your flasks. all magic flasks should be generally fine, put Dying sun on 'Used when Charges reach full' instead of 'Reused at the end of the Flask effect' however the play style is still very cushy so its certainly not entirely DOA.
Check PoB and the "Full DPS" at the bottom of the stat panel for the real DPS since PoB doesnt allow concoction skills to shotgun yet.

POB With a 900 ES Ghost Dance buffer. Thank Harro15 only 300k damage loss so better than the first POB (missing enemies cannot crit while poisoned by default): https://pastebin.com/BpjUT027
Plenty of people have contributed POB's in the comments, Some better, some different. Please look through them if you think the ones here are dogshit. Removing Autoflask would free up points for more defense but I specifically want it because i dont expect to do anything but map and do sirus rotations on this build.
Disclaimer:
This build is only a baseline for players who wish to leaguestart poison concoction, i am in no way claiming this is better than other league starters, simply the only viable post about cheaply and efficiently playing this skill during the first week of the game.

There are a few accounts on which I farm frequently and try to keep all builders busy. Thereβs always one for donations. On most accounts, I βcoast,β just doing the occasional war, or farming when I really feel like it. I've unlocked the sixth builder four times, but I don't play builder base otherwise.
I have a Google sheet with every account name, tag, Supercell ID, start date, TH level, and whatever notes I want. Thereβs a column that calculates the current age of the account using the start date.
The sheet is most useful when I get a new device and need to log them all in again. I also have a tab for brainstorming new names.
Every Supercell ID needs its own email address. Using Gmail makes this easy because it lets you append a suffix to your username and still get email at that address. (Lots of other services do this too.) So if your address is example@gmail.com
, you also get email sent to example+whatever@gmail.com
. You can use this to have as many Supercell IDs as you want with just one mailbox.
I suggest you append two digits to the end of a common suffix. Youβll have example+scid01
, example+scid02
, etc. If you do this, you donβt even need a spreadsheet to remember them. When I was making account number 2 with no digits in the Supercell ID, I had no idea Iβd ever get to 20. Learn from my mistake.
I roll my eyes when I see a clan with a bunch of accounts with names like βPlayer 2.0β, βlil Playerβ, βPlayer 3β, βPlayer miniβ, βPlayer Jr.β, etc. Please have more imagination.
Itβs fun to have a theme. They can all be characters from a fictional work you like. They can be items from some other game. Desserts, zoo animals, trees, currencies, bands, whatever.
Once I started numbering my accounts, I started picking names based on the numbers to help me keep them straight. With the Supercell ID menu and a spreadsheet, I don't think this is necessary. When you pick a scheme for your names, think about how many names it could produce before you run out.
I have a couple of accounts that I use for donations, and Iβll switch up which one is βitβ depending on how their builders are doing. When one is farming, the other donates. They b

However, I'm having trouble getting started with Ukkonen's algorithm as well as trouble finding a solid algorithm to retrieve the substring. I'm looking for a C++ (not just standard C please) example of a generalized suffix tree, preferably well documented! Also I'm looking for an algorithm to retrieve the lcs. Stackoverflow has a lot of discussion on this, but I can't find any documented example code of a C++ generalized suffix tree. If anyone else has approached this problem and has any advice it would be greatly welcomed!

tl;dr I have tank and deeps, where speed?
This might be a bit of a rant, I apologize. I've gotten halfway decent at making my own builds. It's the thing I enjoy most about the game. I like taking a build from concept to an end-game gauntlet of T16 juiced farming, boss rotations (Sirus, Shaper, Elder, Maven, 4-ways, 10-ways, etc), and then calling the build done and starting the next (usually dumb) idea. I'm likely to invest a max of 20ex into each build unless I get some lucky drops, get a stash of ex and craft some good stuff.
I've gotten better with my builds of squeaking out DPS and survivability, but speed continues to be the one thing that escapes me, unless I'm running a Raider where it basically comes for free.
It seems like every build video/showcase I've ever watched has people moving at light speed. Most of my builds get a nice 30-35% MS boot, maybe elusive on crit if I'm lucky, and Silver+QS flask. But if you don't insta-delete the screen, which many of my builds don't since I try to build well-rounded characters that aren't focused solely on mapping, keeping them up 100% of the time is tough.
So does everyone in these build videos run 10ex Elusive + Tailwind 35% ms w/ 15% ms enchant plus perma-onslaught etc? Are all flasks rolled with a move speed suffix? Obviously any build video with Mageblood this league doesn't count because that's two mirrors worth of "All of my flasks are insane all the time", but just your generic "look at this cool build!" video has people clearing maps in like 2 minutes (which nobody stops to loot anything, but that's its own issue).
My best clear build this league was my Arc Ignite build which 1-shots legion and I grabbed elusive on crit boots, but it still feels like a snail compared to every video ever. It still takes me more than a couple minutes to clear a map because I also stop to actually loot stuff.
Also cast/attack speed? How is every single build constantly doing like 10 attacks/casts per second? I swear there's not that much on the tree and gear is maybe only getting you like 5-7% per slot, yet somehow a 1.6aps weapon is getting to like 8 or 10 aps. It's crazy. I understand scaling damage, getting them average hits up, but I don't think I've built a single character out of 60-70 builds in the past 1600 hours that's hit the kind of speed I see in these videos.
What am I missing? Where is all this speed coming from? Especially on boss-killers where it's obvious the goal is to have the most single-targe
