So first time I feel very compelled to start a convo about what I just saw.

On one of Steve’s latest interview vids he sits by the campfire with an old timer and they talk about how common “happenings” are in the remote town in BC they’re in.

The old timer is telling Steve how his son or grandson saw one and they started going through pictures online and the kid pointed to Todd Standings pictures as being what was seen. The old timer didn’t know his name and referred to him as that fellow that got the government to recognize them.

I find it interesting because, like always, every researcher is a hoaxer in the eyes of every researcher. And you could see Steve was annoyed by him identifying Todd’s pics as the match.

The conversation seems very genuine and am not trying to take anything away from Todd, Steve, or Steve’s guest, as they are out there in the middle of nowhere, all day and night, which is something myself, and the vast majority of the BF community as a whole just isn’t willing to do.

So Steve at "how to copy n paste emails and hunt" has announced a second book ...of what you may ask? Well, emails sent in of course.. "The day Sasquatch became real for US" is the title🙄 Anyone else remember this guy condemning the folks trying to get rich off the topic of Sasquatch?..how much more of a cash grab is there to "write a book" and just copy and paste emails and charge $26 and as far as I know, not even give the folks that sent the emails in a heads up that you are printing there encounter emails...

I'm not surprised really. It was only a matter of time.
I guess I was hoping that him being a Canadian guy, he would exercise a little more common sense and stick to the subjects (hunting and Sasquatch) that he's cashing in on - and leave politics out of it.
I began following Steve's channel early last year, right around the time he started expanding further into the Sasquatch topic. His inflated ego was always part of the entertainment factor, but I figured that came with the territory, given his outdoors-man identity. (Growing up in the PNW, you meet a thousand "Steves" all over the place.) His YouTube offerings are/were creative and entertaining.
-Until recently when he totally jumped the shark by padding his narratives with increasingly political views, emboldening the wingnuts in the comments section. Ironically, many of Steve's American fans would decry the 'Marxist/Socialist' programs that Steve enjoys as a Canadian citizen, but whatever, eh?
I think I've heard enough from this one particular "Steve."
