In the spirit of Christmas and spreading positivity, what are some of the reasons why you like listening to the SDP? What is it about the show that keeps you coming back? What makes you refresh your podcast app in anticipation for the latest episode?
I just watched the end of last night's SCF game 5 live cast, and I just wanted to say that Steve is a true hockey fan who we are blessed to have in Leafs nation.
Thank you Steve for having the guts to cheer for the Habs, despite of what some of the folks on here might think. Thank you for being that 'naive' sports fan (like me) who knows that there's more to sports than contracts and endorsement deals. Thank you for criticizing our team (the Leafs) when they deserve it, and not taking the easy way out and pumping everyone's tires all the time. Even when your co-hosts are against you at every turn.
I hope that this playoff run has proved that you have way more to offer than insane-screaming-Leaf-idiot. Please don't stop being that idiot (we love that guy!) but also don't feel boxed-in and think that's all you can do. You make it look so easy, but that's only because all the preparation you do. Please keep grinding away like the team we all wish the Leafs could become.
