A list of puns related to "Step by Step (TV series)"
It's not a bad series but I keep having this feeling that it's a dinosaur about to go extinct. It's just not as compelling as scripted series and worst yet it feels like every other procedural out there because the format is the same. Makes me wonder if they should've stuck with Eddie's original vision, at least it'll be different then.
While Nowhere Man is brought down by a messy and flawed script with questionable pacing at times, the performances, production values and direction are a billion times better than the incompetently made garbage dramas on the local networks. Together with stuff like the PTS produced On Children which also got way more exposure thanks to Netflix, I feel like is a chance for the local industry to take a big step forward and catch up with the other players in Asia while breaking the stranglehold of the big TV channels.
Apparently there are two more coming in the next months and with any luck this is just the start.
If you're a subscriber give it a shot and let Netflix know that there's an audience for something better here. It's just 8 episodes too.
I had a dream the other night that I was at a movie theater and saw a trailer that started with a scene of a helicopter birds eye view of Clover rampaging through NY. Then the screen went black and it started showing clips of other monster related stories that were obviously anthology. Then a title appeared, β10 Cloverfield Hoursβ.... I know, what a stupid title! It was my subconscious, cut me some slack hahahah. Anyway, the idea was that there would be ten 1 hour long episodes of a Cloverfield TV show (presumably on Netflix) and the episodes would subtly connect to each other more as the season progressed.
As you can imagine I was pretty disappointed when I woke up and realized it was just a dream haha. But it seems to me like a logical step in Bad Robotβs progression of trying to surprise their fan base with each installment. Especially now that more and more franchises are dabbling in TV/streaming. Would you want to see a Cloverfield show?
I discovered this series today. Follow this list and watch the videos on youtube. Fantastic series. It is a shame that Hollywood gave up doing good stuff like the things we see on the fifties/sixties, like this series I've discovered today and others like Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. Today we have garbage.
If you guys know more series like that, please post.

CBS has announced that a new Star Trek television series will debut in early 2017. There are few details on the show itself, but what we do know is that the first episode will premiere on CBS but then the show will move to that network's streaming service where you will have to pay $6-10 per month (depending on if you want commercial free) to follow the show. I consider this a likely next step in the changing television landscape and discuss that further at this link. The question for discussion is whether the Trek fans (and sci fi fans in general) will pay to watch this show and whether you think this is a good direction for television in general to go.
Cons:
-You have to pay to watch
Pros:
-This caters to the VOD/binge-watching viewing model that has become much more common these days.
-The network will have a much more accurate measure of the audience because they should be able to know exactly how many views the show has as opposed to Nielsen's sampling method.
-You typically have to pay for television anyway and you can buy five to ten channels like this a la carte plus Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu and still pay no more than they typical cable/satellite bill and possibly less.
[Edit] Clarification on how the service works: For the $5.99 monthly subscription, you get access to the CBS back catalog plus the current show airing on the network (most, though, not all). The $9.99 prices gets you the same, but commercial free.
I'm a UK Ape and have done the whole IBKR > CS route. Posted a comment for a user struggling to setup so thought I'd add this as a main post for anyone else.
Step 1: Create IBKR account. This is pretty self-explanatory. I personally did it on their website and then downloaded the App and logged on there.
Step 2: You need to send IBKR a DRS request in order for the CS account to be created. You go into the message centre in account management and send a new ticket to them with your info - Here's a template for ease of use:
" Good morning,
Can you please arrange an outbound DRS transfer based on the below info. I am happy to pay the associated fee. (This is $5 so make sure you have this available in your account)
Name: (Your full name)
Acc: (Your IBKR Account Number)
Contact: (Your email and Phone Number)
Company name: GameStop Corp
CUSIP: 36467W109
Ticker: GME
Shares: 1 (I recommend only sending 1 initially as a test)
ComputerShare
DTC No: 7807
PO BOX 505005, Louisville / KY 40233-5005
(Insert your full name and residential address here)
If there are any issues, please let me know.
Regards. "

Step 3:
Few weeks later you will receive a letter to your address from CS with your CS account number and a W8 form to fill out with your basic info. They also send a return envelope for you to return the form to them.
Few weeks after that you will receive your CS security code - you need to input this when prompted to access your CS account dashboard.
NOTE: You are able to speed up the delivery of the letters by calling CS and asking for expedited mail - which you will pay for over the phone. Think it's around $45 (I didn't do this but many have).
EXTRA NOTE: I am unable to use the UK version of the Investor Centre as GME is an American-listed company. So whenever I go to my account at CS I need to switch to the US site before I can log in - I have not seen many people talk about this but thought best to add here.

Step 4 (For remaining shares and future DRS'in):
It gets easier when the CS account is all setup. Once it is, the following is all you need to do to send over shares:
Go to the account menu in IBKR.
Transfer & Pay.
Transfer Positions.
DRS.
Input your CS account number.
Add asset.
Choose GME and select the number of shares you want to transfer.
Sign the confirmation and 'Finish'.
All done!
It seems like they got a lot weaker as I can declare on them by 1938 or 39 and have them dead by 1940 routinely now
