My account got suspended on Friday and i got it back today (Sunday). They were taking so long to reply to my emails, i was basically replying to the emails and then sending them messages on twitter to tell them that i've replied to their email and can someone look at it and get back to me.
My situation could have been sorted in 10 mins if i could have spoken to someone directly on the phone or instant chat.

So I'm in the position where I'm trying to decide on an instant messaging platform to integrate into my onboarding process, and it's pretty much between Slack or Google Chat right now.
I've used Slack more than Google Chat, and I've never been disappointed, but I've also never been wowed. It does what it says it will do and it seems pretty reliable.
Google Chat I only started looking into recently, but it also seems like a good choice. It's definitely less advanced than Slack in terms of integrations, but it's backed by Google.
One of my big considerations was automation. Slack seems to have a bit of an edge here, but they took away the Zapier option to automatically add new members/guests to your workspace, which was the main thing I wanted anyway. I would have liked to have been able to automatically send clients a channel invite when they sign a contract, but that doesn't seem possible with Slack or Chat anymore.
Another consideration was price. Slack isn't too pricy, but at the same time, I'm already paying for Google Chat through Google Workspace, so it's free.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has some insight into what platform might be best for a small agency. If you want to share about how you onboard new clients into the platform, I'd really appreciate that too!

So we upgraded from Shoretel 14.2 to Mitel 19.2 recently and I realized that my Instant Messaging log files weren't working as in Shoretel you needed a client registry setting to copy all IMs and basically copy those files somewhere. With Mitel, it looks like it stores the previous messages somewhere but I am not able to find where I can access and pull these conversations. Has anyone figured this out or know where I can find it. Thanks.
