if you're one of those who are curious at the hype of the new movie but never watched all the parts before, or just want to refresh your memories, here's a good chance for that.
I'm specing up a system currently based round the new sony HXC-FB80 cameras - does anyone know if you can get the pix out menu on SDI connector on recent sony CCUs - i know older ones needed composite monitors, or well that's how they always seemed to be setup.
Speculation based on other sony CCUs is fine as i realise the FB80 cameras are quite new.
I have saved up enough to get the 1 iii and went to the store to purchase it only for the bloke to change my mind completely and sell me a Google pixel 6 pro, the specs blew Xperia out the water (apart for the screen).
The problem is when I got home I did some more research before I opened it and was shocked to find that it had no SD card, I just presumed that all phones had them (not upgraded in since the original XZ) and I can live without the headphone jack but would rather it had it.
Anyway I am going to exchange it for either the 1 or 5 iii and have a few questions

I'm not that technical so would getting the 5 and saving some cash be better, I'm mainly gong to be listing to music, using WhatsApp, watching YouTube and taking the odd photo and video.

Does it have a sim AND SD slot?

Is the UI similar to the XZ? I just love how Sony phones work.

Is the overheating problem in the 5 really bad because I could really do without it being an issue.

Should I just get with the times and keep the pixel and get used to the future now? I will be using pay as you go but that phone seems like it needs loads of data to work as intended.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
