My friend recently built slivers and i cannot touch him. He continuously puts indestructible and and shroud on the board and any attempts to stop him just dies at that point. Its deceptively fast and my playgroup always ignores him until its to late and by them he just runs away with the win. So how does someone counter this deck? The desert air cradled my face like warm, welcoming hands, cooling the streaks of tears and sweat. I came upon a dead and withered mesquite tree and broke a branch off to use as a crutch. Walking still proved difficult from my inability to brace myself using my broken arm, the protrusion was indeed bone.
I began walking - best that i could - up the hill. From this angle it looked totally unrecognizable as the point that Jim and I began our... "journey." After about 2 and a half hours of walking, night had fallen and I could barely make out what appeared to be black scaffolding-like voids in the stars behind the top of the hill. It must be the headframe, I thought. Homestretch.
I continued hopping, sliding, and tripping up the hill. Every once in a while I would hear pebbles falling from the incline, or a scraping of dead mesquites. A rabbit would occasionally jump out from behind a creosote bush. Any other time, this environment - the plants, animals, the gentle breeze, the beautiful opalescent sky - would give me a feeling of peace and tranquility. But I was quickly losing my nerve. I couldn't shake the sense that I was still being followed. Bright as the cosmic specs of light were, they did little to allow me the ability to make out what might have been that creature's white body against the sand behind me. Things moved all around me, and noises never seemed to have a source. I caught glimpses of movement out of the margins of my vision, but when I look, nothing there. Pareidolia plagued the horizon as everything that sprouted from it seemed sinister.

Not only this, but when you mention that you're talking from the perspective of someone who has personally taken several different types of pills, from SSRI's to Antipsychotics, it doesn't matter. There's a subreddit about a personality disorder which I got banned from somewhat recently all because I said antipsychotics didn't do anything for me ... so since I'm an outsider and I don't follow what the hive mind thinks then I'm just a bad person to them -- as if I'm talking from the experience of someone who's so ignorant that they'd never accept a diagnosis, reach out for help, etc. I embraced the diagnoses I was given only to find that of course they're made up diagnoses and the doctors have basically abandoned me in this realm, not offering any way for me to bounce back from this false thing which happened to me and plagues me because I know fully well it's an injustice. They don't want to explore how I'm NOT mentally ill -- they want to hint that maybe I am or I clearly am. They want me to say that "there's a problem." It's cruel. After all I've been through in life. My psychiatrist is able to tell me that "Asexuality doesn't exist" and when I complained to my therapist, she simply said that "She's allowed to have her own beliefs." Yet, Schizoid personality disorder is in the DSM-5. She's a psychiatrist and her big book has Schizoid personality disorder in it, and it's pretty well known that Schizoid's generally have trouble connecting with people, experiencing intimacy, to the point where asexuality isn't too uncommon. I tried to tell them that there's something different about me but they have no input to give whatsoever. I wasn't a fan of life from a young age, and how could I be while getting bullied for my looks since I was a young boy? If I was lonely before the 1st grade, you know, that's something to explore. The therapist and psychiatrist have nothing to explore. They have nothing to say. They simply take in my information and I feel a disgusting, shallow energy. It's like my problems aren't real to them -- they go in one ear and out the other. They offer NO INSIGHT. They don't help me understand things. They never detected my schizoid behaviors. They never diagnosed me as bipolar. I myself google my symptoms and ask them if I'm this, while the "bipolar" was caused by zoloft which was given to me for no reason because I'm NOT dysthymic. I'm also not bipolar. I just need to not be taking Zoloft. So thanks a fucking lot, not to mention how Zoloft

The commander banlist is interesting. With such a wide range of strategies, power levels, and even end goals, I find it odd that the one thing everyone agrees on is that one set of cardboard rectangles with words on them is inherently more valid than another set of cardboard rectangles with words on them. True, a lot of people use Rule 0 to up their Commander showdowns by including stuff like [[Grusilda, Monster Masher]], [[Shahrazad]], or self-inflicted electroshock torture, and that's great.
But those conversations are hard, and a defined list is a great shortcut for thinking after a long day at the smoke factory. I want my favorite stuff to be unequivocally legal. These playtest cards are awesome, and this new series is here to investigate what jank you shouldn't be able to complain about. My scientific method objectively measures each card on three axes:
- Could they: Are they too crazy, confusing, or cursed to make it?
- Would they: Does Wizards of the Coast want to push the boundaries this way?
- Should they: What
I wantwould be best for Commander as a whole.

Thoughts? Hopefully it's not a bug and glad they're doing this. Could be a decent RNG money maker. Could see the legendary shards going for a lot for people's convenience in not wanting to farm portals for endless hours
I have seen a decks made for the five color legendary slivers. What I have been thinking about is if there are any decks out there that are still sliver tribal without being five colors, and, if not, anyone has any recommendations on how to approach that.
I have only ever achieved a general study of human biology and child development, but one needn’t a medical degree to recognize the significance of a premature birth – one such as that that took place on the evening of March 7th – surviving for more than mere hours, to say nothing of it thriving for months, as what would turn out to be the case.
There was also the matter of the peculiar… deformations. I hesitate to use that particular word to describe the child’s anomalous anatomy, and soon, dear reader, you’ll understand why. But first, I will describe in layman’s terms what I consider to be medical oddities:
The child came into this world 4 months early and bottom first – a breech birth; the amniotic fluid that accompanied the birth was the smell, color, and consistency of crude; the placenta, however, seemed normal; the child’s legs were like that of a dog’s hindquarters – digigrade so as to walk on the balls of the feet; the toes were long and seemed capable of grasping with the same strength of fingers; the arms extended the length of the body with fingers long enough to wrap around the child’s own head; the child’s face was thinner than any infant that I had ever seen – the skin was taut around the skull causing fine definition in the jaw, cheekbones and abnormally large eye sockets. As for lips and ears – there were none, instead present were traits reminiscent of a reptile: small holes on either side of the head where ears would be, and a thin ridge that, though capable of independent movement, held firm to the maxilla bone and mandible when the mouth was at rest; the child’s skin, to include eyelids, was translucent, causing the circulatory system to be quite visible and likely the result of the child having been born prematurely. I assume this to be the case of the absence of ears and lips as well.
