Thread, titled Penn State Gym Masking

The most upvoted response answers the question pretty clearly, stating that the CDC recommends everyone wear masks in indoor public spaces (e.g., gyms). However OP and another user aren't convinced:

• User: "What were the methods used to gain the data?... Surely you can answer all these questions, considering you did the research."

• OP: "First of all, the CDC recommends it, when did a recommendation become the right to make a law? Secondly, COVID was very much a thing 10 months back and the WHO has still not updated their guidance, meaning they haven't found any information to disprove it."

• OP replies to the same comment again: "Also your link doesn't have any specific wording on exercising and masking. Like I said, masking while exercising is completely different from masking while just sitting down and working on your computer."

Another /r/PennStateUniversity user makes fun of OP for not being able to exercise with a piece of cloth on their face, resulting in OP's boast of his superhuman fitness: "I have a six pack and run 5 miles a week but ok yeah im outta shape. Most of the guys i workout with also feel the same and they are pretty fit."

There's also some agreement in the thread: "Let’s hope they stop with this stupid shit shortly. Let those who are unvaccinated deal with the consequences of their ignorance."

There's other comments by users in the thread and OP goes out of their way to reply to almost all of them, but most of the drama and prolonged arguments happen in the above links.

I personally have never been able to keep my abs more than a few months tops. I have problems binge eating but despite that I have always had a passion for lifting weights and calisthenics (ran a lot and competed too).

I’ve been fat to fit to fat so many times. The first time I lost 20 lbs and was ripped, this time I have to lose 45 lbs to even see an ab. I went back to tracking calories though! Losing weight :)

Any advice on how to keep your abs year round?

Keeping aside the social media hype. Is it even worth the effort to go below 15% bf??? (Given I have no plans for comps whatsoever)
